There was complete silence until Jai asked me "Can you tell me why are we going there?"
I told him avoiding to look at him "Today, after Rohan and you went to his room, Raj spoke to me. He is still not fine after our breakup and he wants me back but he doesn't want to hurt Rohan."
I paused for a minute and continued "And he is trying hard to forget me but he can't. That's why he is gone to his fuck pad tonight to have a one night stand with some random chick to distract himself."
Jai asked me with a serious expression "And why are we going to interrupt his one night stand? Sometimes you're really confusing Tina."
I said looking at him "I am worried for him. I know we broke up and who he sleeps with is none of my business but I care too much for him."
I was uncomfortable at the thought of him being his old self. I continued "I cannot let him go back to what he was. I don't know why."
We stopped at a signal and Jai looked at my tensed expression through the dim street lights and said "And how are we going to stop him from doing what he wants to?"
I had the answer to his question so I replied immediately "I am sure he will stop the moment he sees me."
He said it in an irritated tone "You're just screwing up things more, you know that, don't you?"
I said in a low voice "I don't know if I am screwing it up or not but my inner voice says I need to stop him and that's what I am doing."
The signal turned green so he started driving again. He said looking at the street ahead "You're acting like a jealous ex-girlfriend I feel. You can't just do this. It's gonna hurt Rohan too."
I said looking at my knotted fingers "All I want is for both of them to be happy. I will tell Rohan everything chill."
He didn't reply again and we went on quietly. We reached for a 15 minute drive. We got down and he handed over the keys to the valet.
I knew I was there to stop him but I had no clue how I would do that. I walked in nervously holding Jai's hand.
I told him as we got inside the entrance into the huge posh lobby. I asked nervously "I don't know how the hell are we gonna get to him?"
He said "Just go along with what I do."
He went up to the reception area and he started speaking to the weird looking reception lady. He was speaking to her but I got totally distracted the moment I saw Raj.
He was sitting in the café close to the reception area with the girl. She had hot legs but she looked like a total slut.
I could see Raj but she was blocking was view. She was trying to stick to him but he didn't seem to be bothered.
My phone started ringing and I checked out, it was Rohan. I picked up feeling a bit confused about what to tell him.
He said in a cheerful tone "Hey baby. Did you reach home?"
I was thinking what to reply. I finally replied glancing at Jai who was still talking at the receptionist "I am out with Jai."
If I told him, I was spying on Raj, he wasn't that mature to understand why I was doing that. His mind would wander in the wrong directions. I thought I would tell him the next morning going back to his home.
