So I had originally started a totally different Chris Motionless fan-fiction, but I thought it would be better to start from the very beginning of where the original fan-fic started. I hope you guys like this. The main character is Kari, if you've ever seen the Incredibles, it's pronounced as the babysitter's name.(: Bye babes.

P.S. For my story to make sense, it has to take place when TJ Bell and Angelo Parente are still in the band. I know they're not anymore. Also, some things are kind of messed up, that's because I went and changed things after. I'll try to fix it whenever I get the chance.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Kari! Are you ready yet?!" My best friend and roommate, Manny, asked.

"Hold on, I need to fix my eyebrows," I said, fixing the line I had messed up.

"You're gonna be wearing a mask, why does it matter?!" She questioned, as I walked out of the bathroom, my eyebrows finally drawn on perfect.

"Because you know how I am," I said, taking my masquerade mask off of the counter between the living room and kitchen.

I wasn't actually a masquerade. I was Elvira, cleavage and all, in a slightly more revealing dress with not quite as huge hair, but Elvira none the less.

Manny said the masks were "required", but I think she didn't want anyone to see us as huger freaks. I slipped mine on and gave a thumbs up.

We walked out of our apartment into the cool, Pennsylvania air. It was my most favorite day of the year; the only thing that could make it better was if it was warm in Scranton.

My heels clicked along the sidewalk as we walked to our destination, which I still wasn't sure of. "Where are we going?"

"You'll see," she said emotionlessly. This was so unlike her.

"Come on Manny, lighten up. It's Halloween! The night is young and I can practically hear bad pranks happening," I said, nudging her. I put my arms out and twirled in the street. "Let's go feast on fresh meat."

She laughed at that, which made me giggle in return. This night would be one to remember. She turned a corner and walked towards a building that was decorated to look abandoned, and if I didn't know better I would say it was.

She opened the door and walked in with me on her tail as good music filled my ears. The kind that pissed your parents off and scared your eight-year-old cousin. Heavy music.

The room was dark. It was filled with costumed, sweaty people. Cheap fog covered the ground and I was trying to figure out why we were here.

Manny walked over to a group of about seven guys, most of whom had plenty of tattoos. She walked to one with extremely stretched ears and stretched nostrils while I stood by the door. This guy had multiple other piercings and looked like he was wearing what he would normally wear.

It's people like you who kill the Halloween spirit, I thought to myself. Manny immediately started talking to him then soon summoned me to come over from where I was standing.

I walked over elegantly, feeling eyes on me, and stopped in front of stretched nose guy and Manny. As I did, I truly noticed the other guys and even though they had masks there was something familiar about them.

But I had my sights set on the tall one; the one with a suit on and slicked-back hair; the one with the stretched lobes and neck tattoos. Something about him drew me in and I would continuously find myself looking at him as Manny continued talking to stretched nose guy.

I was having one of my gawking sessions at suit guy when Manny finally talked to me. She had a smile on her face and I wasn't quite sure what was going on.

"Kari, there is someone I'd like you to meet," she said, motioning to stretched nose guy. "This is Kuza. Kuza, this is my best friend Kari."

My jaw hit the floor. Kuza? As in Mike Kuza? No fucking way.

"Shut up!" I said, not believing her, as stretched nose guy took his mask off, showing she was telling the truth. "Wow."

"I've heard a lot about you," he said politely and I couldn't help but smile. I looked at Manny.

"How in the hell do you know Kuza?" I questioned. She just smiled at me, not giving me an answer. I turned back to him and offered my hand. He shook it. "It's an honor to meet you."

He grinned. Manny started to talk again, gaining my attention. "And these guys, well, I suppose you can meet them."

My best friend had a secret life. Not only did she know Kuza, but she knew these other guys that I don't know? Especially Mr. Tall, dark, handsome, stretched lobes and tattooed?

"This is Ryan, Ricky, Balz, Angelo, TJ, and that's Chris," she said, pointing to each guy then stopping on suit man. I looked at Manny.

"Chris?" I asked, hoping she would confirm my suspicion. She did.

"Yeah, Motionless." Chris Motionless?! Oh yeah, this would be a night to remember.
