That's Why I Smile.

"Uhh, Kuza, Manny, Louie, and I went over to my mom's place," I said.

"Yeah?" He said, smiling.

"Mhmm, and Kuza will probably tell you something that she said so be prepared for it," I said with a chuckle, the scene playing in my head.

"Or Manny will," Manny yelled, barging through my door.

"Oh god no, go away, he doesn't want to hear the story," I said, putting my hand up.

"Yes, I do!" Chris piped in.

"I think he does," Manny said, sitting next to me.

"He does," Chris said with a chuckle. I shook my head. He nodded. Manny snickered.

"Kari's mom thinks you’re hot," she said. He looked shocked while I was humiliated.

"Really?" Chris asked.

"Yeah, she asked if Kari was still with her boyfriend and Kuza said some stuff about you and Kari's mom asked who he was talking about. Kari got all embarrassed and said he was lying and that's when I yelled, 'CHRIS MOTIONLESS!' To that, Kari's mom said, 'Chris Motionless? Is that the really good looking one with the eyebrows?' I nodded and Lita--Kari's mom-- said, 'Oh My. If I got my hands on him-, and Kari cut her off. I genuinely wanted to know what she was gonna say. I might call her and get back to you on that," Manny said, satisfied with herself. I giggled at Manny's rambling.

"Well," Chris said. Out of nowhere, a sinister smile spread across his face. "Is she married?"

Manny shook her head. "Nope."

"Is she hot?" Chris asked.

"Chris!" I said, my jaw dropping. Manny and he started laughing.

"I'm just kidding Kari!" He said, still laughing. Manny looked happy and stood to leave.

"I'll be taking my leave now," she said and left. Chris and I talked for about an hour before he had to fight to stay awake.

"Chris, go to sleep, I can tell you're exhausted," I said. He tried to open his eyes wide.

"No, I'm awake. I swear," he said, rubbing his eyes.

"No. Go to sleep."

He shook his head. "But I'm enjoying our conversation."

I laughed. "You were mumbling everything you said. Go to sleep."

"Alright fine," he said after an extremely dramatic sigh. "We'll talk tomorrow okay? I don't have a show tomorrow so you're gonna have to talk to me all day so I don't get bored."

"Alright. I will. Bye Chrissy," I said with a grin, but he already started to fall asleep.

I was about to end the video chat right when I heard him mumble, "Bye gorgeous."

I smiled as I closed the chat and turned my laptop off. The smile never left my face, even as I drifted off into unconsciousness.

I don't really have any specific time as to when I'll update. I just do it when I feel like it. I kind of changed the plot a little bit. Chris will be in the next chapter, in person, on the screen. xD
