Spring Break (part 1)

Sorry I didn't update last Sunday. Got a little distracted but I'm here now. And I will double update today. (FYI I update this story every Sunday)

Ellis is Meredith's mom,
Carolyn is Derek's mom
Mary is Mark's mom.

(Shepherd Household, 8:00am)
"Are you sure?" Ellis asked.

"I'm positive" Carolyn said. "It would be nice if Meredith and Mark came along" She added

"We don't mean to intrude or anything" Mary said.

"Listen, I am more than happy to bring along Meredith and Mark with the Shepherd family to go to our log cabin" Carolyn said.

"Okay then it's settled! Mark and Meredith will be traveling with the Shepherd family!" Mary, happily announced.

"Aw thanks so much Carolyn" Ellis hugged her, as followed by Mary.

"Anytime" Carolyn replied.

Mary and Ellis walked out the house feeling delighted that they wouldn't have to be seeing their kids for two whole weeks.

Ellis Grey, a world renowned surgeon was looking forward to spending the next couple of weeks with the love of her life, the hospital.

Mary Sloan, Seattle's greatest lawyer was ecstatic that she would be non stop working on a case for the next week or two.

(First day of Spring Break)
(Shepherd household, 3:00pm)

"Hey Derek!" Mark yelled as he made his way toward the HUGE van.

"Oh hey" Derek said as he placed his suitcase in the truck.

"This trip is going to be awesome!" Mark slowly put his luggage next to Derek's, in the truck.

Then Kathleen, Nancy and Lizzy all came and filled up the trunk with their suitcases.

"Geeez Liz, we're only going for two weeks, how much stuff do you need" Derek questioned, he would never understand girls.

"DerBear, you will never understand the importance of fashion" she said, as she strutted off to help Amelia.

"Hi Mark, Hi Derek" a soft voice said.

"Wait your coming?" Derek was puzzled, no one told him she was coming.

"Uh yeah, my mom kinda wanted to get rid of me" She coyly explained.

"YAY Grey is coming with us" Mark sang. "Don't worry Mer, my mom wanted to get rid of me too" Meredith giggled back, as she heard Mark's response.

"Lemme help you with your bags" Mark offered as they both went into the drive way. Derek couldn't tell if he was shocked because Meredith was coming with them, or because Mark was actually being nice to a girl.

He looked over to see what was taking them that long, only to find Meredith giggling and Mark blushing. A surge of jealousy went through his body. He liked Meredith, and his best friend liked Meredith. The only problem was, Meredith hated him.

Please don't hate me! I know it doesn't seem like a MerDer story but trust me. MerDer is endgame. Remember double update todayy🎉
