Really short but cute!

"Hey Mer!" Izzie said as she took her seat at the lunch table where Meredith was already seated

"Hey" Mer replied before taking a bite out of her turkey sandwich. She had to admit, the school's lunch today was pretty good.

Turkey Sandwich
Apple Cider
Fruit cup
Mini garden salad

"Hope George's having fun vacationing the Bahamas with his family" Izzie sighed.

"Hey Meredith!" Callie and this girl Amber smiled. They also took a seat at Meredith's lunch table.

"Hey Callie, Amber" she politely said back. She tried to concentrate on her apple cider, but got distracted by Izzie's potato chip munching.

"What's up Grey?" Mark asked, as he passed by his crush's lunch table.

"Oh, Hi" she mumbled back. Was it that hard to enjoy a simple sandwich without everybody hovering around you.

"What was that?" Izzie, clearly dumbfounded by the encounter Mark and Meredith had. Mark Sloan, was an ass, in Izzie's opinion. Plus he wasn't as cute as Derek.

"I don't know what your talking about" Meredith lied.

"Mark Sloan is evil and selfish! Mer, you can't be friends with him!" Izzie sighed, trying to knock some sense into her best friend. "Nobody could even give birth to someone that evil! He probably had to spawn on an alien dimension!" Izzie recalled the time when Mark "accidentally" hit the soccer ball at her face.

"Basically you called him an evil-spawn?" Mer laughed, choking on her salad.

"Yeah, evilspawn... that suits him."

"Evilspawn is better than clueless Derek over there" Meredith said while pointing at the lost Derek.

"Shut up! Derek Shepherd is better than Mark!"

"Look at him, he's so dumb, he can't even get into the lunch line."

"That's because the line is too long!" Izzie defended.

"He kinda looks like a lost deer" Meredith giggled.

"No he doesn't!"

"Yeah he does... kinda like... BAMBI!"

"That's mean Mer"

"No but seriously Mark could be evilspawn, and Derek could be bambi... that could be our little code names for them"

Izzie contemplatedt the nicknames. "Fine" she sighed.

The girls finished up their lunches and headed off to 5th period with their Math teacher.

Cute right?
