She stepped outside the gate and took in a deep breath, testing out her ankle. It was perfectly fine, as if nothing had happened. What was in that cookie?! She should ask Mr. Phaeton next time she saw him.

On second thought... Maybe she shouldn't.

He'd never tell her anyway.

But she had definitely learnt some new things about Aidon. She began to walk away, thinking about everything when the door to the huge mansion banged shut. Confused, she hid behind the pillar and peeked out to see Aidon, furiously making his way out. The door had opened again and she heard Mr. Phaeton yell.

"You can't go against the Moirai-"

"I don't fucking care." Aidon yelled back as he hurried out, flashing Phaeton the finger casually as he strode off into the night. Curious, Dia followed him, ready to bear the consequences for if she got caught. He pulled the hoodie over his head after pulling on the cap and she was quite stealthy, due to the fact that she was light, petite and swift on her feet. Her converse made no sound on the ground either. Aidon made it into the city, away from the neighborhood that people resided in and stepped into the first alleyway he found. She hesitated but then followed him.

She didn't get far as he suddenly stopped. A homeless man lay there, in the brink of death. She quickly hid behind a huge can of-ew-garbage and crouched down, watching. This is so gross...

"Mr. Housten." Aidon began. "I-I'm so sorry..." He knelt down before the man and was reaching for his neck.

What?!

He touched it softly and the man began to shriek. What was he doing?! Dia found herself knocking the can over and running to help the man.

"AIDON!" She grabbed onto his hoodie.

"Fuck no! Dia!" Aidon lost contact with the man and the man desperately breathed in a lung full of air. "Oh shit shit shit." Aidon stood up and began to tremble, taking a few steps back. "SHI-" He began in Greek but was cut off as he fell to the ground, on his knees, and began to scream out, holding his head, throwing it back, groveling on the floor, every way he could to minimize the amount of pain that was coursing through his body. Dia stared, frightened and scared and she took a step back, afraid to say a word. "Fuck! St-STOP IT!" He cried out to his invisible torturer. "STOP IT YOU ASS-" he began to cough up blood. Dia took this as her cue to help him. She rushed to him and crouched down beside him. As soon as her hands touched his cheeks, he stopped. He gasped for air and panted as he stared into nothingness, eyes wide. He knew she was holding onto him. She expected him to push her away. He did nothing. He was still trembling and she stared at him, not knowing what to do.

"Aidon?" She whispered, her voice going super soft. "Aidon are you ok?" He didn't answer her. Instead, he wiped the blood from his face on his sleeve and stood up, dragging her with him. "Aidon please!" She tried as he shook her away. "What just happened to you?" She reached out to touch his shoulder but stopped. He gave one look at the man lying on the floor.

"It really isn't your time Mr. Housten..." He muttered, his voice thick and caught in his throat due to the blood he had coughed up. "I'm sorry I couldn't make it less painful for you..." He turned and walked off, leaving Dia very confused. At his actions, and his words.

ΞΞΞΞΞΞΞ

She stepped into her house. A very worried Katy ran to her, seeing the blood on her arms, legs and midriff.

"Oh my god! Dia are you-" she began but Dia pushed her away.

"Go away." She drawled, clearly upset. "I'm fine. Go home Katy." She grumbled as she went up the stairs to her room.

Fucking mortals.

The thought flew through her mind before she could stop. What? She shook her head and stripped down before she went into her bathroom, tossing her dirty uniform into the hamper.

She sat in her bathtub, washing off the blood that had splattered onto her feet, shin and thighs as she rushed to him off her skin. She thought of the event that had occurred.

Was Aidon somehow sick? Was there some sort of illness like seizures or asthma that he was going through? An illness that attacked him at the rarest of times? A painful, torture-filled illness that caused him to cough up blood?

She clambered out of the tub, dried herself and pulled on some clothes before she slipped into bed. What was going on?

How did she get dragged into this.

Usually by now, the guy would have bored her. Aidon's mysteriousness only encouraged her to seek him out further. She now not only wanted but needed to know what his deal was. So his parents had cast him away, what was his last name again? Why was he kicked out?

And how is he so freaking rich?!

What happened to him that night. How was he in so much pain... And that cookie... What was going on?!

ΛΛΛΛΛΛΛ

Dia sat up on the grass and studied her surroundings. She was sitting under a great apple tree and it was a bright day. Almost automatically, she held out her hand and a golden apple fell onto her hand.

"Helen of Troy this time?" A soothing lady like voice began behind her and she turned to see the lady. She was still as beautiful as ever. And it was then that she realised, she had always spoken to this woman in her dreams... in Greek... Always...

"Not really." She dropped the apple hastily and the woman laughed as she sat down beside her. Her hair was tied up this time in a fashionable bun, a few strands of it hanging loose and blowing in the wind.

"It is such a difficult time right now isn't it? So many question... So much curiousity?" She smiled. "But take your time. That Aidon boy is quite a catch... Go slow with him." The woman advised.

"Why were you at his house today?"

"Today? Me? Dear girl no!" She laughed again. "That was yesterday... As for why... I just felt like it." She winked. "Even I like admiring his face." She teased, making Dia blush. "I know many things dear... But unfortunately, I'm not allowed to tell you yet..." She slightly pouted. "The moirai will have my head." She joked. "If Atropos cannot cut my golden string in anyway, she will physically have my head for meddling in with your lives so soon." She was half-serious now.

"I've been meaning to ask this... But I never quite had the chance..." Dia began after taking a deep breath.

"Oh I know this one..." The woman grinned. "What is it?"

"Your name."

"A-"

VVVVVVV

Dia sat up, sweaty and in shock. She had almost learnt the name.

Almost.
