Everything has to be a certain way.
It's either black or it's white.
Everything is done their way or it's not done at all.
It's their way or it's no way.
They are the worst people to work with. Whether it's at school on a project, or during a sport, it's impossible to get along. You constantly butt heads. You always argue. You never can get anything done. Not efficiently. It's a constant hand raising battle for the teacher. "Is this right? Isn't she wrong though?" It's a constant back and forth banter. You never get anything done. You get out of class with the outline for your project barely even finished. You go home and start to project on your own. You work all night to get a jump start on the project only to come to school the next day to find out the control freak had the same strategy that you did. It causes even more problems. You both disagree on the other's research.
The teacher refuses to switch partners. The teacher refuses to let you work on your own. You are stuck with the control freak and they are stuck with you. You and the CF are stuck. You succeed together or you are going to fail together. Succeeding would be a miracle. You soon start to think that the teacher has it out for you. You think that the teacher hates you. There's no way that the teacher wants to help your teamwork skills. If the teacher wanted to do that they would have put you with a slacker, not a control freak.
Sports are no better. Not only does the control freak critique others, but they also kiss the coaches ass as well. They never do anything wrong. It's always everybody else who needs the coaching, not them. Everybody needs to play the same way they do. It needs to be done their way. You throw the baseball wrong? You might as well have just lost the game. You pass the soccer to the wrong person (meaning not them), you just lost the game. You shank a volleyball on a hard downball and everything is your fault.
Sports are worse than school projects. Sports are outside of school so there is no one to stop them. The coach is oblivious to what is going on. It's because the coach is blinded by all the ass kissing. Their form is always off and everybody but them realizes that. No matter what sport, they do something wrong. And yet, they get playing time.
I'm losing focus here. I'm talking more about an ass kisser than a control freak. Control freaks. They are freaks. They need to be in control of everything around them. If they aren't in control of the situation it's the end of the world. They don't understand that other people have feelings. They don't understand that when things go wrong it isn't the end of the world. They don't understand what true failure looks or feels like. They need to win. They need to win their way. They need to control every variable. And if they don't they flip their cookies.
When they aren't in control of the situation they aren't in control of themselves. They become confused. And they become hostile. For when the control freak can no longer control themselves, it truly is the end of the world.
