My head was waving and my words were slurring. My vision got blurry and I grabbed hold of Mike. He didn't hesitate. He was also higher than a kite.

We ran through the streets, not stopping once to glimpse at the cops calling the teenagers running down the street.

We live in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and adults really couldn't give a crap if they saw a dead body on a pedestal. So, no one even took a second glance at the high teens roaming around the town in school hours.

Of course, I knew this, and so did Mike.

And we got bored of all the running. Yes, we did steal a car. But we were not in our right minds to realize our theft.

________

"Mike-y! Babe? I'm getting bored!" I pouted, and he swooped me up from my feet. "Mo, you're a little boney! It's like blades sticking into meh, but is this fun?" He changed positions so I was on his back, and I was getting a piggyback ride.

"I'm still bored!" I whined. "Aw! Don't be bored!" He ordered. "Shut up!" I told him, feeling a sudden headache come on. His voice was like the only thing I could hear.

We stopped in front of a huge car dealership that was filled with people who wanted expensive cars.

"Ooo! Mike-y look at those rides! You think you can get me one?" I bagged my eyelashes for his pleasure. "Anything for my Mo!" He tickled me, causing me to bounce off his back with a thud.

We snuck in, passing the security guarding the precious rides. That's how cool they were.

"Hello! Can I help you lovely couple?" A salesman smiled. "Oh no, I'm her Daddy. I'm buying her a car." Mike said, making me laugh. "Alright, but you may want to visit a hospital, your eyes are a little red and bulky. If you have allergies-" He began, but Mike interrupted, saying, "What are your nicest cars here?" And the salesman just grinned widely.

When he showed us a red Dodge Challenger, but I wasn't interested. I realized that this was a Dodge dealership and sighed at the fact we weren't gonna find Bugatti's.

"Can you watch my daughter? I need to go to the restroom." Mike started. "Oh, I'm sorry. The only restrooms are located where all of our keys are. It's for staff only." The man explained. "Don't you trust a father in need?" Mike asked, but the salesman only nodded his head slightly.

With a quick wave, Mike ran off. "Aren't you a little old to be a daughter of that man? He's a little young." The guy asked me. "No." Was all I replied with as suddenly my head began to swerve. I'd like to believe my high was close to ending.

But I didn't want it to end. I didn't want this feeling to end.

"Hurry up, Mike." I saw everything fading in and out, but after a few minutes, Mike was back, with keys jangling from his Jean pocket. I smiled, but Mike frowned, "I couldn't find it! The staff didn't let me use it. So I guess we'll be going." He waved and took my hand as we ran.

As soon as the salesman went to attend another buyer in need, Mike showed me the type of car we were riding; A Viper Dodger.

"Perfect!" I smiled. I kissed him so hard, my  lips were burning by the time we got up.

We checked every Viper to see which one would unlock to the keys. Unluckily, it was the last car in the bunch, but it also happened to be the sweetest red car I'd ever seen.

"Runaway with me? You and I?" Mike took my hand as we drove away, going to only god knows.
