Karlie borrowed Derek's car which they taught is much more convenient for both of them. She parked the black audi infront of Taylor's apartment. It was 5am in the morning and the sun was still out if sight. New york city is a beautiful place even in the dark. She sip from a cup of coffee she brought from a nearby starbucks then dialled Taylor's number.
When she heard the singer's voice, it melted her. She's not supposed to feel that way. Its not normal but she can't help it. Thinking that maybe, at that moment, she's just being a fan girl.
"I'm here." she said, smiling at the thought of seeing Taylor again.
"Be right there." she said before she hanged up the phone.
"What's happening to you Karlie. Keep it together." she told herself. But she's palpitating, like the organ inside her chest was mocking her.
Excitement wouldnt even amount to what she was feeling. She nervously tapped on her steering wheel.
Then the apartment door opens. She look out and saw Taylor who looks amazing in her black pullover and black pants.
The singer smiled at her as soon as their eyes met. She open the trunk and put some of her luggage inside. Then she sat on the passenger sit.
"Karlie!" said Taylor and Karlie realize that she likes the sound of her name when its coming from Taylor.
Taylor then kiss her on the cheek. The tall girl was thankful that it was still dark she could easily hide her blushing face.
"Hi." said the green eyed girl.
"Where are we heading?" the singer asked.
"Out of the woods." said Karlie.
"Taylor lips form a smile as she look at the road straight ahead. Away from home, away from the world she chose. Though it was temporary, she was happy, like she was finally starting to breath.
