Part 12

It was Karlie's birthday and a party was being held at her apartment. Taylor arrived late because she just got off from a meeting with her producers. She walk towards the door and she can hear the music and laughter coming from inside.

Thinking on seeing Karlie with Toni hurts her. But she loves Karlie more that she cant miss her birthday. She opened the door and was greeted with some of their friends. Cara, Lily, Martha, Selena, Ellie, and Lorde were the only one left. Some of Karlies guest left already. But Karlie and Toni were not insight, which wounds her more.

"What took you so long?" asked Cara, who was obviously had enough drink for the night.

"Meeting." she answered. Much later, all of Karlie's guess went home, they said their goodbye to Karlie before she even came. Leaving her and Lily alone in the leaving room. Her friend brought her to the kitchen to grab some more drinks from the fridge.

"Are you ok?" asked Lily, who noticed Taylors not so jolly self.

"Huh. Im alright." she answered.

Lily stared at her. Her arms crossed, waiting for Taylor to say anything to her. But Taylor grabs a bottle of wine and pour it on her glass. She then drink it and poured another one.

Just when she was about to drink the third one, she felt someone wrapped its arms around her. She dont need to turn around to know who it was. The warmt and that familiar scent. She didnt move, she just enjoyed the feeling it brought her.

And as it let go, she felt the chair swivel and she was now facing her. Karlie's punch drunk eyes were staring at her.

"I thought you would never come.." words were slurring from Karlies mouth. Karlie then rest her head on Taylors left shoulder, still standing up. but eyes close.

Taylor turn her head to Lily, who was now grinning at drunk Karlie.

"She's loaded." said Taylor, frowning at Lily, who then laughs before she said goodbye, leaving the two of them all alone in the house.

She felt Karlie's soft hands on her face, she turn her head, and their eyes met, Karlie looking up on her. With their lips only an inch away from each other. She smelled the combination of sweets and alcohol from Karlie's warm breath. Suddenly, Toni pops in Taylor's head. She pulled away.

"Karlie stop." said Taylor. Karlie stood up straight. Pain was written on her face.

Taylor stood up and run out.
