Part 10

Four months. Four months since she last saw Karlie. But they still keep in touch but they never talk about what happened.

Karlie was still there, always reminding her to eat on time. Motivated her to go to the gym as always. Asking constantly how her days go without a failure. Calvin never made an effort as much as Karlie.

She's not supposed to compare, but she misses Karlie more than she misses Calvin.

One night Karlie called her up.

"Whyvare you still up?" was the first thing she said before she could even say hello.

"Is that how you say hello now?" Taylor giggled. But Karlie didnt say anything. Taylor felt that there was something wrong.

"Karlie..." she said. Then she heard a sigh.

"Taylor.. I think Im gay."

Then it was her turn to be silent. She was caught in a surprise. She didnt even think of it as a joke.

Karlie is gay.. Then it occured to her, it means theres someone. Theres a girl who made her feel that way. She felt a sting on her chest up to her throat. But she wants to know anyway.

"How.."

Karlie didnt say anything at first, then she heard her took a deep breath and said..

"Theres this girl, and Im inlove with her."

Hearing it coming from Karlie opens up a box that she thought didnt exist.

The pain, the longing, the sudden joy, the feeling of contentment when she's around....

She's inlove with Karlie.

Tears starts falling from her eyes. She's inlove with her best friend and it took long before she realize it.

Theres a possibility for them because now she knows that Karlie could fall in love with a girl.. It just happened that its not her..

"Like what you've told me, Im happy as long as you are happy." she said in a cheerful voice. Then she lied that Tree was on the other line. They said goodbye and hang up the phone.

Taylor hid her head and cried on the pillow. Her two cats jump on the bed and lay down beside her. Like they know how horrible must have felt at that moment.

When she was done crying, she reach for her phone and open her instagram. She search for Karlie and saw a newly uploaded picture of her and a girl whos name is Tori. She looks at Karlie's tag photos.

Couple of pictures from the paparazzi showed up on her screen.

Karlie and Tori on the plane, two of them having lunch, dancing and laughing in the club. Giggling and talking with each other while on the shoot. Karlie looks so happy.
