Once Again

Justify

(Taylor's POV)

I sit up slowly in my hospital bed yawning quietly. I look over at the window and see a male nurse opening the blinds slowly. Once the are opened lightly he turns around and almost jumps twenty feet in the air.

"Holy!" I chuckle gently and cover my mouth. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you." He laughs and nods. "Its cool, are you feeling any pain miss?"

I shake my head and say "no...I'm just a little tired." He nods and then hands me some water. "That's normal on your medication, speaking of...you need to take these two pills miss."

I nod and he hands me two little white pills. "May I ask what they are?" He chuckles and says "they are pain killers, just to keep the pain at bay for now." I nod lightly and say "thank you."

He nods and then walks over to the door and I swallow my pills quickly. "Ugh." He chuckles gently and then says "I will be back quickly miss with a surprise."

I make a confused face and he opens the door. I raise my hand out and then say "wait wha-" he walks out of the door and I sigh. "Or just walk out without answering my damn question."

I roll my eyes and then look down at my lap. I look around for my phone and see that it's on the desk next to me. Must be Zayn had it when I was in labor, he probably left it there last night....

I grab it and tuck my hair behind my ear. I hit the lock button and I see that I have a message.

Zayn: hey love, if you're reading this text it means that you found your phone obviously haha. I will be stopping by to see you around 10:00 okay? I love you see you then. XOXO

I smile and then send back a text saying.

Me: okay babe, I love you too and I'll see you then.

I then hear footsteps causing me to look up. I gasp when I see the same doctor but this time holding my baby. "you have my baby!" The doctor laughs and walks over to me.

He gently hands Olivia to me and says "this is your surprise, I hope you enjoy your day with her miss, she so precious." I smile at her lovingly and nod. "Thank you."

He smiles and I'm so entranced by my baby, that I didn't notice him leaving and closing the door. I gently rock her back and forth and I hear her light breathing and gurgling noises.

I chuckle gently and say "hey little baby, how did you sleep?" She looks at me with big eyes and holds her hand out to me.

She grips the top of my gown and tugs on it, strangely strong for a baby. I gasp. "Woah little one!, calm your self, are you hungry?" I chuckle and she smacks her lips together.

I giggle and then grab a towel that's on the table folded up beside me. I drape it over my shoulder and then stars to feed my baby making sure I'm all covered.

I wait until she's done eating and then tuck my breast back in my shirt and gently rest her face down on my shoulder to burp her.

After ten minuets of gently patting I hear her burp quite loudly. I giggle and then hold her in my arms gently. I smile down at and lay us back gently.

"So baby girl, what are we gonna do while we wait for daddy huh?" I look down at her and her big hazel eyes are staring up at me and she smiles.

I gasp looking at her smile, it's the most breathtaking smile ever. Lights up the room, I smile back at her and say "look at that smile, my beautiful baby."

I laugh lightly and her smile slowly fades back to a normal relaxed look. I start to sing me and Zayn's song.
