Once Again

Zoning

(Taylor's POV)

I take a bite of my burger and then chew it slowly. I don't know why I'm so hungry but I don't want to eat....because Zayn's on your mind....

I sigh and put my half eaten burger down. I stare off into space as Kay and Josh talk amongst themselves. "Tay?" I snap out of my faze and look at Kay.

"Mm?" She frowns and looks at my food. "I'm full." She sees right through me and says "no you're not." I look her straight in the eye and nod. "Yes I am."

Josh makes a face and says "Tay...you barely ate." I glare slightly and say "maybe I just don't wanna fucking eat the burger." Their eyes widen and Kaylin says "listen...I know your husband left you, but you don't get to be a bitch just because you're upset."

My eyes widen and I look down. Josh sighs and says "Kaylin-" I shake my head and say "no she's right...I'm sorry." Josh frowns and I stand up from my seat.

"Where are you going?" They both ask and I say "I'll be back." Kaylin frowns and says "no wait-" I ignore her and walk towards the bathroom.

I push open the door and then set my stuff in my bag on the counter. I break down and cover my face. "Ugh, fuck my life." I cry into my hands and slide down to the floor.

Just then I hear a toilet flush and I stand up and wipe my face off and wash my hands making it seem like I just came to wash them.

I short ginger haired girl comes out of the bathroom. I smile gently at her, she's maybe five or six. She reaches up to the sink and then asks. "Miss?"

I look down at her and say "yes?" She frowns and says "I heard you crying." I frown and she says "it's okay to be sad.....I'm sorry for what happened but you shouldn't cry."

My eyes widen in awe and she smiles at me. "You're so pretty....my mama always says you're too pretty to cry so when I'm upset I draw pictures." I nod gently and dry off my hands and then hand her some paper towels for her to dry hers.

"So please don't cry Miss...because who ever made you cry is a jerk, and they don't deserve your tears." I smile a genuine smile and say "thank you." She nods and takes my hand.

"I hope you feel better Miss." I nod and smile again. "Bye." I wave at her and she walks out of the bathroom. What a sweet little girl....how does she know all that stuff...I'm still I'm awe...She must have a kick ass mom.

I wipe my eyes again still feeling upset but a little better. I grab my bags and then leave the bathroom seeing Kaylin and Josh sitting at the table.

Josh is lecturing her and she looks down at the table and nods. I frown and then walk over there. "Stop lecturing her Josh...She was right it's okay." He looks up at me and says "but-" I shake my head and smile a small smile.

"Let's go okay?" They both nod and Kaylin hugs me. "I'm sorry." I nod and say "I know...it's okay." She nods and then smiles. "Okay....ready to go?"

I nod and check the time. 5:30...wow time flies huh?..... we walk out of the mall and to my car. I put my stuff with Kaylin's and Josh's. Poor Josh is in the back with all the bags.

I get in followed by Kaylin getting in the passenger seat. I start the car and drive out of the lot. I wait at the stop light and ask them both. "So where to now?"

Josh says "we are going to get piss drunk." I nod and bite my lip. "So bar or club?" He thinks and Kaylin says "we should go back to your house and wait for a while then go to a club."

I nod and drive back to my house. Once we are there I park in the drive way surprised to see my moms car gone. I grab my stuff and walk up to my door. I unlock it and walk in.
