Once Again

Ownership

(Taylor's POV)

I push the door open and I hear talking in the back. I make a confused face and walk to Jane's office door. I knock and the voices hush. "Come on in." I hear her voice say sweetly.

I slowly push open the door and see her sitting next to a tall dark haired man. I smile and say, "you wanted to talk?" She nods and waves me in. I step into her beautiful office and the man offers me his seat to which I smile and sit.

"Thank you." I say to him and he nods. Jane hands me a packet of papers and I look at them confused till I see in bold lettering. Deed..

I look up at her with wide eyes and she smiles and rests her hand on my knee. "Taylor...when you applied here, I knew that you loved this place with all your heart." I look at her nervously and smile. "It worked out in my favor that you and...Harry were best friends."

She clears her throat and I smile gently and look down. "Jane-" she smiles shaking her head. "I want you to take over this library." My eyes widen and I look at her again. "Really?...why me?" She smiles and grabs my hand.

"The only other person I've seen love this library more than me is you...I've watched you stock shelves with a smile everyday, I see you reading books everyday.. you log in everything... and you are amazing with the customers."

I smile feeling happy. "Jane I would love to. This would make me so happy." I say and smile widely. She laughs and says, "my husband and I are traveling around the world...and you will own this library. I trust that you will make me proud."

I hug her tightly and say, "thank you so much Jane....thank you." I squeeze my eyes shut and giggle to myself. "No problem Taylor." She rubs my back and her husband I'm guessing smiles at me.

I pull away and she says, "just sign here and it all yours." She hands me a black pen and I smile taking it. I flip the page open and click the pen. I sign my name on the line and they clap. "You are now the proud owner of the fifth street library!"

I smile and nod. "We are leaving right away so we must be going." She smiles and we both stand up. I give her one last hug and shake her husband's hand. "Thank you both for this."

They nod and smile exiting Jane's office. Well I guess now it's my office. Oh my god I have an office!...that's so cool! I bite my lip and squeal happily while dancing around. "Yes!" I exit the office and walk around my library.

My library...that sounds nice. I close my eyes and breath in the scent of the books. "This is a dream come true." I immediately call Zayn. He picks up on the third ring and says, "hey baby."

I smile and tuck and fix my beanie. "Hi." He chuckles and says, "are you coming home?" I smile and look around exiting the library and locking it up putting the keys in my pocket.

"Yes I am." He talks to Olivia in the background and I hear giggling and squealing. "Okay we will see you soon baby....what?...uh-baby girl you just ate...are you sure?...ah I see."

I giggle and get in my car starting it and I sit behind the wheel. "But baby girl...you don't want to get a tummy ache...okay fine.. Tay you still there?"

I laugh and put my hand on the wheel not moving. "Yes I am, what's up?" He sighs and says, "Olivia wants ice cream." I giggle and say, "and cupcakes, cookie,brownies and soda." I laugh and say, "how about I bring home some ice cream and stuff for brownies and we shall have sundaes?"

He repeats what I said and Olivia screams some words and Zayn laughs. "She says yes mama do that please." I laugh and nod. "Okay well I will be home soon then." He chuckles and says, "see you soon baby, I love you."
