Chapter Seventeen
Luke's POV

The nurse began the ultra sound.

"I'm so sorry miss"

I glance over at Chloe who's eyes are desperately searching the monitor.

"I can only find 1 heartbeat, 1 baby"

Tears stream down Chloe's face and she lets out a sob covering her mouth.

"I'll be back with the test results" the nurse says before leaving the room.

I quickly hug Chloe and she clutches onto me sobbing into my shoulder.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry" she sobs.

"Chloe it's not your fault, it's not your fault baby" I say as my eyes water and tears escape my eyes.

The door opens again and Chloe quickly looks up.

"Umm....I need to do another ultra sound to confirm the test results"

*10 Minutes Later*

"Miss Hood and Mr Hemmings, I'm very sorry but only 1 baby has made it. Unfortunately since you are so far along in your pregnancy you will have to carry them till you give birth to the surviving baby,"

"The bleeding should stop in a couple of days."

*1 Hour Later*

I lid in bed holding Chloe against my chest as she sobbed.

My phone rang.

I glanced at Chloe and she nods.

I pick it up and get out of bed.

"Hey" I answer.

"Luke where's Chloe? I need to talk to her but she isn't answering her phone, can you please put her on the phone"

I look towards Chloe who is curled into a ball; as much as she can with her huge belly.

"Umm......Chloe baby? I'll be right back okay?" I say.

She nods.

I leave the room shutting the door behind me.

"Hello Luke? Put Chloe on the phone!" Calum says.

"She can't talk right now, she's not emotionally stable enough"

"What do you mean?"

(A/N: *dances* I bet 98% of you read that in Justin Bieber's voice)

I lean against the wall and squeeze my eyes shut as tears run down my cheeks.

"Luke? You still there?"

I nod my head yes.

"Yeah" I whisper.

"I'm still here" I say my voice cracking.

"Luke what's going on? What's wrong?" Calum asks.

I sniffle.

"Um...w-we...we um..lost 3 of the babies today" I almost whisper.

"Oh my god" Calum gasps.

"She has to carry them until she gives birth to the baby" I sniffle.

"Wait...but weren't you only having triplets?" Calum asks.

"Yeah, but some how she conceived again, it was a max of 3 months, we found out about it a couple weeks ago"

"Luke I'm so sorry"

"Fuck" Calum curses.

"How's my sister?" Calum asks.

"Hasn't stopped crying since we got the results"

*2 Day's Later*

I helped Chloe get dressed into a pair of sweats and one of my sweaters.

She pulled her messy unbrushed hair into a ponytail before brushing her teeth.

I finished packing her suite case.

"Chloe have you eaten yet?" I ask.

She shakes her head and sits down on the bed.

"Chlo you need to eat, you didn't eat anything yesterday except for one piece of toast" I say.

I place my hands on her stomach.

"We still have a growing baby in here and they need food, please eat something!" I say.

She slowly nods.

I smile.

"Thank you"

*2 Hours Later*
Chloe's POV

Luke kissed my lips once more.

"I love you, call me when your flight lands okay?" Luke says.

I nod.

"I love you to Lukey"

*1 Day Later*

"Mummy!" Zoella and Arielle yell and run towards me.

I smile and bend down hugging them both.

"Were you two good on the plane for grandma Liz and grandma Joy?" I ask.

They nod.

Liz and Joy walk over with the dogs.

I'm staying in Australia until the baby is born.

I can't be on my own and I need someone to help me.

"Mummy can we stay with grandma Liz tonight!? Uncle Ben is coming to visit and we wanna meet him!"

"Girls he's not coming until tomorrow" Liz smiles.

"Oh" Arielle says.

"Can we stay at grandma Liz's tomorrow!?"

"If it's okay with grandma Liz"

"Of course!"
