Dork Diaries: Gwen's Story

Saturday 8th September

I woke up with a very high fever today.  I was like just great of all the days to get sick. It had to be today. But I wasn't gonna let a fever get in the way of me having  fun at that party with my friends. No way. I took a long warm bubble bath that left me as fresh as a new day. It took me about two hours to get ready. Hey guys don't judge. I'm a girl and I'm proud of it.

I looked perfect. Except my nose was running and clogged that I had to breathe through my mouth .It totally ruined my lip gloss. Luckily, my fever went down. Oh gosh I'm getting late. It 3 o'clock. The party has already started. Gotta go. I'll write everything when I get back.

Right now I'm at Kim's bathroom writing  this entry. So my dad dropped us off at Jennifer's mansion. Yap mansion. Compared to us our two floored house is a cottage. She was at the door with her Bff Kate Grenched welcoming the guests. When she saw us, she quickly ran to Glen and hugged him. I waved at her and thanked her for inviting me. "Whatever "She said rolling her eyes at me. "Glen could you get me a drink. I'm punched. Please hon."She said batting her eyes all doll likely. "Sure Jenny " He said walking away. "Listen weirdo. I only invited you non pop losers so I can win Fall fest princess" She said. Why am I not surprised.  I knew there was a catch. She then sashayed away. I hate that. 

Kim arrived minutes after my little chat with Jennifer. "Hey Kim" I said running to her. "Oh hey Gwen, has Skyler arrived yet? ""No . I haven't but I think she's a little late. Let's go in" I said. We walked into the house and
started dancing. Everyone was having the time of their lives  even Jennifer who was dancing with Glen and a bunch of other popular girls. Soon Skyler joined us and we danced our hearts out. I got a little thirsty and decided to get some punch. But when I got there, I met with the last person I ever wanted to meet. No not Jennifer. Ok the second last person I wanted to meet. Justin.  I'm soo mad at me. When he saw me. He smiled at me. I felt like slapping that smile off his really  cute face. Ok maybe not. I was kinda blushing. Ok to be honest ,I forgot all about him and Jennifer when I saw that smile.But still, I was really mad. "Hey Gwen...wow you look.........wow!"He complimented me.

I was speechless
"Thanks, you don't look so bad yourself" I teased. He laughed. We just stared at each other."So um...I know it's non of my  business or anything but I heard you and Jennifer used to...date" I said shyly  of coarse. His face turned dull. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't "I said. " No it's just that ...I  made a huge mistake at that time. I regret it"he said. I was super happy. I wasn't mad at him anymore. He even asked if I could dance with him. Omg I was blushing like crazy. We danced non stop. Me , Sky , Kim and Justin.  Later the party ended and we had to go home. Justin  waved to me Skyler and Kim as we entered Kim's mom's car and we drove away.
