Dork Diaries: Gwen's Story

Saturday 15th September.

Its my birthday. Yeeey. I'm just from waking up. Its now8:50 am and I'm already alive and kicking. I have to go eat breakfast then go take a shower then hang the deco and staff. Kim and Skyler agreed to come over and help me with the finishing touches.
Oh no Cody is at the door. Gotta go.

Cody came to wake me up.( even thow I was already up). He does this to everyone during their birthdays. First he will sneakily enter your room. Then he slowly climbs your bed then....he jumps up and down the bed like a lunatic singing:
'wake up wake up. Its your birthday . get up get up and eat some cake' really loudly and off key.

But he never got me this time. Hahahahaha. Anyway. I raced to the kitchen and hugged my mom and dad good morning. Mom had made my fav break fast. Pancakes with chocolate syrup. Yummy. Now I have to shower. Tataa.

-12:50 am- Sunday
Hmmm!(me tapping my chin with my pink sparkly pen) where was I .Ooooh ya . I soaked in the tab for like...45 minutes. Hey its my big day. Then I  wore my new orange dress and black anckle boots. I looked so cute.

'Ding dong' rang the door bell. It was Kim and Skyler with two beautifully wrapped presents each. presents☺☺ Yeeey. They came up to my room and shouted "happy birthday" so loudly  it could awaken the dead. "Looking good girl,"said Kim coming to hug me.
"Mmmh you're  look totally amazingly gorgeous." Skyler said.  "Aww guys. You look awesome too." I said hugging both of them.

We then went to the back yard to hang decorations near the swimming pool. We also kept some lodge chairs outside. In no time, everything was ready.

Mom then shouted "Gwen honey, go check on Glen and see if he's ready." I was like no way mom. "I ain't talking to that guy plus if you wanna talk GIen you have legs."  But I said that inside my head so no one else could hear it but me.

"I ran upstairs to his room and knocked gently on his door. "If it's Cody, go away. I'm tired of hearing that stupid birthday song" he shouted.I opened the door and pocked my head inside the room. The guy was laying on his bed busy playing with his phone in his PJs. Is he serious. "What do you want?" He asked angrily almost kicking me out. "Well happy birthday to you too," I said folding my arms and rolling my eyes.

"I can't believe you aren't dressed yet. The guest are almost here." I said.  "Aaaagh. Whatever. I still have a lot of time," he said. Sometimes he makes me so mad I could just... Spit.

"Mom said you take a shower, get dressed  and come down stairs for breakfast. NOW!"I yelled.

I think Glen got kinda scared when I said that. I couldn't blaim him. I was so stressed out about the party. I just wanted everything to be perfect.

"Are you ok Gwen?" Glen asked me. I didn't answer. "Fine I'm sorry. I shouldn't have done that in the cafeteria." He apologized. I was still quite. "Gwen don't be like that...it's  our bash and we're supposed to be happy."

Glen then grabbed his pillow and had the nerve to hit me. I got mad and took his other pillow and hit him right in the face. We started laughing and continued with the fight until we found ourselves downstairs in the living room.

Kim and skyler just stared at us."You dare have a pillow fight without me?" Kim said grabbing a pillow. She  then hit me so hard, I found myself kissing the innocent floor hawling with laughter.

Skyler then joined in and the four of us were having the time of our lives until my mum found us. "Glen I'm giving you two minutes to get ready. Your time starts now." She scolded him."And as for the three of you ............... keep having fun." She said with a big  banana smile plastered on her round fair face.
