Dork Diaries: Gwen's Story

Wednesday 26th September

I locked myself in my room yesterday crying, eating a lot of ice cream and watching sad movies on my laptop which made me cry even more.

It wasn't until I was inturupted by my annoying brother Glen. He knocked gently on the door and asked if I was okey. "I heard you were sick and mum told me to come check on you" he said through the door.

"I'm fine Glen, just go away,"I shouted
"Are you crying?" He asked

"No......its...its just my cold that's making me sound like this. Go away"

He must have left when I said that.

After half an hour. I heard another knock. "Glen I told you I'm fine," I yelled angrily.

The person just kept knocking and knocking that it got so annoying I had to open the door.

It was Kim and Skyler. I wasn't really in the mood to see them. "Oh...hi guys," I said pretending everything was okey and not that I was heart broken "didn't expect to see you here *sniff sniff*"

"What's wrong Gwen. You left school early and you haven't answered any of our calls or responded to any of our texts." Kim said worriedly.

"Nothings wrong.....I'm just really sick cough cough. See," I lied

"Come on Gwen,You can tell. Aren't we friends?" Skyler asked

I did trust them. They were my bffs. I told them everything trying my best not to cry again. But I just couldn't help myself.
Skyler and Kim must have felt so sorry for me that they were about to call Justin and tell him of what a Jerk he is. But I stopped them.

"You know what Gwen, Justin is just a loser. He doesn't deserve a friend like you. So girl stop feeling sorry for yourself because your only mistake was liking the guy," Kim said.

"Ya, wipe away those tears and walk with your head held high. We'll go to that dance together. Forget that guy even exist. Ignore him coz he's hurt you, a lot." Skyler added.

Suddenly I felt better. Who is Justin anyway. Some guy with the most perfect hair and eyes and smile. Ugh stop it.

He's heartless.

Today at chemistry he actually came to me and actually had the nerves to talk to me,"Gwen I have something really important I need to ask you?"
"Sure" I said. "Well I was thinking...."
The bell suddenly rang and I didn't want to be late for English. I'm not really on my teacher's good side.

"Sorry Justin but I have to go," I said then left the class before he could say anything else.

At my locker when I was grabbing my bagpack, he came again. "Hey Gwen......what I wanted to ask you earlier was well...." He was then inturupted by a really annoying voice.
"Juuustiiin hey, so about the fall fest dance," Jennifer flirted. She then saw me and looked at me in discust "Oh Gwen never saw you there."
I was just sick and tired of that girl I could just.... pull out her hair extensions

" Don't worry Jennifer, I was just leaving," I said rolling my eyes.

"But Gwen," Justin said

"Bye Justin," I said and got the heck out of there.

Everyone was talking about their stupid dates to that stupid dance. It all felt so .....STUPID. I'm not jealous or anything. Puh-leez. Well everyone except Kim and Skyler. They hadn't been asked yet but my sources tell me that Rex, Ken's friend wants to ask Sky. Yeey for her. But Sky wants Glen to ask her. Boooo.

I don't want to go to that dance any way but Sky and Kim want me to go so badly. They even did the puppy dog eyes which I NEVER say no to, how hard I try.
