-Harry-

Her smile was the only thing I could see.

I felt like I was a camera, focusing on only her. My voice had gotten better each time I tried to speak, which was a good thing I guess.

My sight was still a little iffy, not peeking through as much as my voice.

"Where do you plan on going for college?" She asked, leaving me completely speachless. I hated talking about college. It meant moving away. We all know what that meant.

"I'm not sure yet.." The only thing that needed to improve with my voice was the constant cracking, like I had just woken up.

"Do you have any ideas?" She pushed.

I grabbed the remote for the bed, pushing the button for me to sit up. This dreadful robe it making me uncomfortable around her.

"I was sorta thinking New York, but then I imagined the travel." She sounded like she was gasping at my choice, then I sighing in relief for my answer. "I was going to say, it's atleast a ten hour flight?"

I shrugged, smiling up at her.

"What about you Noel?" I couldn't tell her expression, but I could feel the nervousness by how long she took to respond.

"I was thinking of going somewhere here. But if that didn't work out I'd like to travel to the U.S." We had the same ideas, but her choice was a bit different than mine.

"Ah," I paused, running my fingers through my curls.

"I see.." Her eyes met with her hands, rubbing them together. I missed the feeling of being able to hold them, but after a while it seemed as if we were more than friends. Of course, I didn't have a problem with it at all, but I guess she did.

After a few more minutes to ourselves, she decided it was getting late.

"Noel," She turned her body towards me before she reached to door. I wanted to tell her goodnight, but something about my instincts told me to tell her to stay.

"C-Could you stay?" I could see her expression, she was shocked.

"Harry I'm not sure tha-"

"Please? Just for.. tonight?" I didn't know what had gotten into me. I'd become a fool, a sucker for love.

She sighed, doubtful sigh. She was over thinking things, I didn't want that for her, but I wanted her to stay.

"But what about your mum?" She was so worried about what would happen, but not one bit focused on what might not. I felt her struggles, deep in the core of my body. She knew she wanted to, but for some reason she felt like it wasn't right.

"No, Nevermind.. I-It was stupid and reckless to ask you that." She walked back over to the bed, sitting down.

"Don't take it back Harry, I'll stay." Looking up at her, I noticed the desperation in her eyes.

"Noel you rea-"

"Harry," Her hand is pressed against my chest, the only option is to look in her eyes. "I'll stay." My heart is thumping, I'm not sure how she doesn't notice it.

Her hand lifts up sharply when the door opens. She stands up, smiling as my mum and the boys walk in.

"You standing there makes it look like you two were doing a little something something." Liam spoke, lifting and lowering his eyebrows. She shook her head, crossing her hands in front of her.

"Nah nothing that... you would want to see." They all laughed.

"But we didn't-"

"We're just messing with ya." She sighed, giggling afterwards.

"Alright, well you boys should let him get his rest. Tomorrow's Saturday so you can come visit right away." She looked at them, waving goodbye.

"Noel, you don't need a ride?" She looked at all of them, even my mum.

"Oh I uh-"

"She's staying the... night. Mum, go home and.. get some rest." She looked to me, blinking rapidly with her mouth open.

"Uh, Harry are you sure?" I nod, shooing her away.

"Okay well uhm, goodnight baby." She walked over, kissing my forehead. "I'll be here in the morning, okay? So don't stay up too late you two!" She hollered as she walked out.

Noel's hands were clapped together, turning slowly towards me.

"Come sit.." I spike softly, patting the spot next to me. I watched her as she slowly made her way over and sat down, breathing out her nose. I looked at her features, the way her cheeks curved perfectly, and the brown color of her eyes shined bright under the light above me, god damn..

"What now?" She asked, looking at me with a small smile.

"We could play a game? Watch... TV?" She looked to where my hand lead. The TV wasn't as big as I'd like it to be, but it would have to do.

I wanted her to lay next to me, as I wrapped my arms around her and watched her fall asleep against my chest. I wanted her to look up at me, and see the beauty behind my ugly madness.

But this was reality, and my imagination doesn't happen.

She got up, walking to the other side of the bed. I watched as she took off her coat, revealing her long sleeve, skin tight shirt. It was a deep red that hugged her curves. I enjoyed looking at them, as they were as perfect as her face.

She sat down, slowly laying back under my arm. I watched her actions, wondering what she was doing and why she was doing it.

Her hand was in a fist, laying against my chest, while her head laid in the crook of my arm. I slowly wrapped my arm around her, watching as she made herself comfortable.

"Noel.." I whispered. She looked up at me, her eyes a bit curious. It was my imagination, the way I saw it in my head. The way she looked at me, made my body go insane.

"Yeah?" She whispered back.

"What's going.. on?" I groaned in pain from her hand on my ribs. She clenched my shirt, realizing what she caused. Before she could retreat back, I grabbed her hand and moved it to my heart, letting her feel how nervous I was.

"Are you nervous?" She asked, sitting up on her stomach. I breathed out shaking a bit.

"A little.." I whispered.

She smiled warmly, placing a hand softly on my face. It burned, but I didn't care, she was showing affection and I was okay with that.

"I wish it could be different.." I was surprised I even heard her, she talked to quiet.

"Why?"

"Because your all banged up pretty bad, and I can't do much about it." I gulped, she must've meant it intimately.

"I just.. you just ended things with Lance... and I don't want it to be... weird." She smiled, shaking her head. No, why is she shaking her head?

She laid her head back down, slowly closing her eyes. I watched as she fell asleep, comforted the devil in her dreams.
