"Harry?" I walked to the front door, not seeing him around. I opened the door, hearing a car start.
"Harry!" I ran barefoot down the driveway, catching him just in time.
"Harry, where are you going?" I asked as he rolled his window down. Tonight had been a disaster between him and my parents, but not between him and I.
"Home Noel. Go back inside and work things out with you and your father. It's the best thing you could do for now." My lips turned downward. "But why? There's still dessert?" He smiled, shaking his head.
"They don't want me there, hell, I'd be surprised if I get to see you anytime soon, or anytime at all.." He turned his brights down, buckling himself.
"Please come back in." My fingers curled on the window. It wasn't down all the way, but far enough to be able to see everything thing I needed to.
"I'm okay Noel, really. I knew I was going to break out, there was no way I wasn't." I sighed, closing my eyes. He didn't get it, I didn't care if my parents were not okay with him. I couldn't go a day, I minute, a second without hearing his voice or seeing his face.
"That doesn't matter, please don't leave.." I hoped that I wouldn't have to beg, but I guess it was my only option.
"You need to go back inside, you don't have anything on your feet except your socks." I bit my lip.
"Stop being so difficult Harry. Get out of the car now." He sighed, turning the engine off. Heat rose inside of me, mixed with excitement. He rolled the window up, getting out of the car.
Repeating the last time he was here, I walked backwards slowly, watching as he moved towards me.
"I can't stay away from you, I hope you know that right?" I wanted to kiss him. I wanted to kiss him before he could hesitate, and leave me hanging. But I didn't.
He grabbed my hands, bringing them around his neck. I was shaking, feeling the ice slowly melt around my feet. My socks were getting wet, making my feet extremely cold. Harry noticed, smiling at me. He lifted me up, wrapping my legs around his waist.
"Better?" I bit my lip, nodding.
"Much better.." He smiled, gripping tightly on my legs to hold me up. He walked up the driveway, setting me down when it was safe to walk. The lights shut off inside, signaling that they were going to bed.
My phone buzzed. I pulled it out, seeing a text from mum on my screen.
*Both of you come inside. Dad is going to sleep and he says he's sorry to you. Harry can stay until midnight no later.*I showed Harry, smiling up at him.
"Will you please stay?" I grabbed his hand, putting my phone in the pocket to my sweater. "Until Midnight." I pulled his arm to the porch, bringing him inside.
It was dark, stumbling inside. I was thankful that mum and dad slept downstairs, so they wouldn't hear us as much. Harry picked me up, climbing up the stairs. I held onto his neck, leaning my hand against his heart, hearing it pound loudly.
He walked into my room, not turning on the light. Making his way over to my bed, he uncovered the blankets, setting me on one side. I frowned when I saw him walk away. He came back on the other side, crawling in with me. I faced him, pressing a fist against his chest, he had unbottoned his shirt, revealing some black ink.
I opened his shirt more, brushing my fingers along the fine ink, looking at his butterfly or moth just below his chest.
He shivered from my touch, looking down at me. "Your hands are cold." He said, putting them inside his shirt. I looked up at him, feeling his warm, minty breath on my skin.
I moved my hands to his chest, then up to his neck. "Noel.." Why did he want me to stop? Why was he so afraid of one kiss?
I watched my own hands travel down his torso, feeling the bumps of his abs. "Stop it.." He sighed, smiling at me. I bit my lip, trying to warm myself up.
He wrapped his arms around me, bringing me closer. "Close your eyes." His chin rested on my head. My face was inches away from his neck. I was so tempted to kiss him there, I had to close my eyes to clear the distraction.
I opened them, leaning in, letting the distraction take over me. My lips met with his neck. I felt a lump move from him swallowing.
His fingers ran through my hair, repeating that process. I rested my lips against his neck, causing him to sigh.
"What are you doing to me?" He whispered, making me look up at him. "I don't know." I whispered back, moving my hands out of his shirt, and around his body. He held me tight, making me warm.
I had missed every second of his touch during this week. I missed the scent from his mouth of mint, and the smell of his cologne that filled my nostrils.
"I missed you." He whispered in my ear, tucking strands of hair behind my ear. I shivered, gripping his shirt from behind him.
"I missed you as well." His lips lingered from my ear, barely touching it.
I leaned my head into his chest, closing my eyes. "Don't let me go, I'm too warm." He chuckled, nudging against my forehead. "I'm not going anywhere for another three hours." Was it really only nine? I was thanking god for the time frame, three hours until midnight.
"Don't fall asleep." He said quietly.
"I'm not, just resting my eyes." He laughed, lifting his head back. "When someone says 'resting my eyes' they mean that they can't keep they're eyes open amymore, and they want to sleep. Open your eyes." I smiled, opening my droopy eyes.
Harry's eyes were glowing in the dark, the emerald brightening with the moonlight.
"But I'm tired." I brought my hands to his neck. "Three more hours, then you can rest your eyes." We giggled, intertwining our hands together as we cuddled for the three remaining hours.
