Never had I imagined myself saying him, I was deeply in love with Arnold! We were the typical highschool sweeties. Not many people knew that we were dating. Only few close friends of ours. Of course, Bella & Janice were included.
Hadn't it been 2 months that he called me one day saying, "Hey could we meet? Please." I was ready, obviously. Walking down the slope-y road he said, "Umm.. We need to.. Break up.."
"WHAT?" I almost yelled. "Why now? You said you loved me and you just come up with a break up?" I tried to rebel. "Listen.. It's my mom.. I don't wanna do it.. Trust me.." He tried to convince me. "But, I don't want to break up.', said me. "I'm sorry but we have to", he said.
I didn't know what to do. I didn't wanna lose him, not so soon? I was in utter shock. Collecting my own shattered heart, I said..
"So, we can be friends.. At least?"
"Of course!", he said with a big smile. Somehow, it gave me relief. But, I really had no idea what was in the box for me later...
