"Sweetie how old is he?" My mom asked.
"We can ask him when we get there. Have you guys kissed more?" My dad said.
"Dad he's my boyfriend of course." I mumble.
"Boyfriend? Alexia Olivia Michaels." He growls.
"Oh look the house." I pointed out quickly. "Please daddy keep in mind I like him. I like him alot so please don't freak out." I said as we walk on the steps.
"Of course. But we are talking about this boyfriend when we get home." He says. I knock on the door. Justin said that he will be here to. Rhys opens the door.
"Hi." I whispered.
"Hi." He smiles. My dad clears his throat. "Nice to meet you." Rhys shook his hand and my mother hugged him. We walked in and my mother started complimenting on everything.
"Mom please." Justin says. I smile good he's here.
"My parents should be here in a few minutes." He says as he leads us to the dining room. My mom and dad sit. Rhys sneaks a quick peck from me I blush.
"So what are your goals?" My dad asked. Rhys pulled out a chair for me next to my dad.
"I don't know yet." He says.
"You should. You're a grown man now aren't you." My dad says. He used his echoing voice. So he sounded louder. The doorbell rings.
"I'll get it." Justin leaves. I glacé at Rhys. He just nods. Justin came in with two other people.
"You." He says.
"Oh great." My dad says.
"Why are you here? Rhys why is this man in your house?" The guy says.
"Dad. Can we just sit and talk?" Rhys stands.
"Rhys you know this wasn't a good idea." The lady says softly. Everyone starts talking at the same time. Rhys dad and mine go back and forth. Rhys mom tries to settle her husband down and my mom tries to quiet my father. Justin is arguing with Rhys. Rhys looks tired and wants to yell at Justin.
"Ok that's enough." Rhys says. Everyone continues. "That's enough." Rhys growls. I shiver and he sends me a sorry look.
"You invited us to meet your girlfriend and her parents. I knew this was a set up." His father paces.
"Alexia you known this. So did Justin, why would you do something like that?" My father says softly.
"I kept you here! I told you if.." Rhys dad starts.
"Dad enough. We are going to sit and act like normal people. You're making Alexia uncomfortable. I just want have brunch and meet her parents." Rhys says sternly.
"Ok. Hello Alexia." His father said to me.
"Hi." I mumble.
"That's all we came to do meet her. We're leaving now." His father starts his way to the door.
"We're mates." Rhys says.
"What." Everyone said in unison. I was confused the most. Mates ? How come I didn't know we were mates ?
"Are you sure?" My dad asked. Rhys chuckles and smiles at me.
"Yes I'm sure." He says.
"This can't be." His father says.
"You can go now. I have brunch with my girlfriend's parents." Rhys sits back down. His mom had her hand covering her mouth. My mom was crying.
"What's happening..?" I asked.
"Nothing princess. Would you sit by Rhys?" He said. I stood and sat in the chair next to him. Rhys held my hand under the table. His mother joined the table starting at us. I look at Rhys.
"This is not normal. There just over emotional and happy we are together." Rhys chuckles.
"Ok." I nod slowly.
"Justin bring the food." Rhys says. Justin puts yummy plates on the table.
"Hi Alexia. I'm Rhys mom, Melissa. It's so wonderful to meet you. I'm sorry about my husband's actions. He is very stupid sometimes." She says.
"Hi. It's nice to meet you too and it's ok." I smile lightly. Rhys pulls me closer to him. Justin sits next to me.
"Hey." Rhys whispers I shiver as he kiss my cheek going to my neck.
"Rhys." I blush moving away. Everyone was staring at us.
"Dude." Justin growls throwing something at Rhys.
"Justin." My mother scolds and my father gives him an approving look. I start eating and Rhys stares at me. I guess that's normal.
"First brunch." Rhys takes a picture of me as I chew a waffle.
"They are adorable." I hear Melissa laugh. My mother agrees laughing along with her.
"I can see why you like him a lot." My dad says. I blush. "He's alright so you can date him." I beam. "But you're still grounded and he has to come to the house to see you." He adds. I still smile. I don't think this brunch went too bad. Other than his dad leaving.
"Thank you for inviting us and letting us into your life Rhys." His mom says. He just nods. We finish the food with small talk.
"Thank you for inviting us." My mother hugs Rhys.
"Your welcome Mrs. Michaels." He hugs her back. My dad whispers something to Rhys which causes him to awkwardly laugh.
"Yeah of course." He shakes my dad's hand.
"Justin you're grounded too." My dad says as he leaves. I laugh. Justin curses.
"I think he likes you." I hug Rhys.
"I think he does to. My mom loves you. She won't be able to shut up once she gets back home." He hugs me back. I smile.
"You'll see me tomorrow?" I asked. His lips find mine.
"Tonight." He says softly.
"Ok." I blush and pull him for another kiss. A car honks repeatedly.
"That's enough." My dad yells.
"Bye." I smile.
"Bye." He chuckles. I go get in the car.
"So.. Do you like Rhys?" I asked slowly.
"He's is very handsome young man and treats you like his queen." My mother comments.
"He's alright and seems nice. But if he hurts my princess I'll have him dead." My dad says driving.
"Thank you." I blush. I couldn't contain my smile as we drove back home.
