Chapter 16

Alexia P.O.V

I blush and held Rhys hand as my dad stares at us. I wasn't sure what he was thinking.

"You take good care of her. Don't let her out of your sight." My dad growls.

"Yes sir." He smiles.

"Alexia don't get out of his sight." He tells me kissing my head.

"Ok." I nod. Rhys pulls me with him to his car. Justin puts a suitcase in the truck.

"You won't even be gone long. I'll see you tomorrow." Justin says going back in the house. Rhys drives away mumbling about being dramatic.

"Rhys." I said.

"Yes." He looks at me.

"No no pay attention to driving." I panicked. He laughs and turns back to the road.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"We're going to the pack house which is like where you can find the alpha and a few other wolves." He says.

"Who else is a wolf?" I asked.

"Pretty much our whole school." He says.

"How did I not see that?" I groan. "Is Kat?" I asked.

"Yeah. Her and Blake are mates." He says. How can my best friend not tell me this? Soon we are at a beautiful house. "Come on." Rhys opens my door I get out the car and awe the house.

"You like?" Rhys ask.

"Yes." I look at him to see a huge smirk on his face. I blush lightly. We walk into the house and Rhys is greeted by pretty much everyone.

"Good morning alpha Rhys." A girl hugs him. He gently pushed her off.

"Good morning." He nods. She winks as we continue walking. I turn to see her staring at me. I glare and she pretty much runs away. Rhys laughs. "You're the cutest." He kisses my cheek. Soon we walk into an office.

"Son." Rhys father says not looking up from his paper.

"Was there patrol last night?" Rhys asked.

"Yes of course." He nods.

"And towards the end of the border?" Rhys growls.

"There's patrol everywhere." He answers. Soon there was a knock. "Come in." Rhys dad yelled. A guy comes through.

"Alphas." He bows. "Something past the border." He says.

"What?" Rhys dad stands now.

"Two maybe three wolfs. They might have vampires but they were fast no one can get them. The trackers couldn't find any clues or anything." The guy says.

"How the hell did this happen." Rhys dad growls.

"They were fast. But they left the border. We checked everywhere and they just ran out." The guy bows. I can tell Rhys was angry too. Was this why he left yesterday? Something or someone was close to the house?

"Rhys." I whisper. Everyone now looks at me. He sighs.

"She's cute." Rhys dad says earning a glare from him. The guy smells the air. Yup it looked as weird as it sounds weird. Rhys growls walking over the guy taking his hand to the guys neck.

"What you smell?" Rhys asked. The guy struggles to answer.

"Rhys no." I yell as I see he's hurting the guy. I start feeling light headed and the guy tries to get air turning purple.

"Watch yourself pup." Rhys growls in the guy's ear before letting him go. Well throwing him to the ground. "Alexia." He says walking out the door.

"Rhys why would you do that?" I mumble walking next to him. He ignores me. I step in front of him and put my hands on his chest stopping him. His eyes were black.
