Alexia P.O.V
I got up early. 5:00am early. The sun wasn't up but I couldn't stay asleep. I woke up at least 10 times already and I just wanted to see Rhys. I started to get ready for the day. Today I will be Luna for my pack my wolf howled in agreement. After putting on some comfortable leggings and tank top I slipped on one of Rhys hoodie's. His scent overwhelmed all my senses. The hoodie was huge but it smelt just like him. My eyes automatically watered and I quickly shut them.
This wasn't a time to be crying. I had to be strong for my mate and pack. Quietly I went down stairs and grabbed a granola bar. I sighed deeply as I remember something I don't know how to drive. How was I supposed to get to the hospital? Yes I could run.. I'll get there faster than walking.
"Need a ride?" Justin's voice spoke. I quickly turned to see him grabbing an apple. "I guess you forgot you live in a house with werewolves. I can hear you munching from my room." He continued walking to the door. "You coming or not?" He asked over his shoulder. I quickly follow him out to his car. Once he starts it the air cools the car.
"Justin I'm sorry I snapped at you yesterday." I whispered as he drove.
"It's okay. I know you were just trying to look out for your mate." He says pulling up to the main entrance. I thank him and walk to the front desk. I tried to walk as slow as possible so they wouldn't call my dad or Justin to pick me up thinking I'll freak out and hurt people or myself.
"Good morning Luna." The nurse smiled at me her eyes showing fear.
"Good morning." I reply putting my hands in my jacket pockets. "Can I see him now?" I asked after her just stares anywhere but me.
"I don't think that.." She starts.
"What harm can come from me just seeing him?" I asked.
"None Luna but he isn't in good shape. I don't know.." She rambles off and I clenched my fist to calm down. If I show her I'm calm she will let me pass.
"I will only be a few minutes. I'll be out before you know it. I just really have to see him." I pled. "Please just let me see him."
"Are you sure?" She asked. I nod and she sighs in defeat. "503" Tells me and I smile.
"Thanks." I hurry to the elevator and press the floor number. The elevator couldn't have been any slower. I paced around the space and watched as the numbers grew 2....3....4. Finally it dinged. I stepped out and looked around. There was another nurse sitting at a desk on the phone. It was almost silent expected for soft beeping and slow breathing and of course the whispers of the nurse. I scanned the numbers on the door. My eyes like locked with 503. My feet moved quickly and quietly. I opened the door before closing it softly behind me. I stared at the hospital bed and sat in the chair placed next to it. Rhys had a few IV's attached to his arm. His skin looked pale and I was afraid to touch him. The heart monitor beeped steadily as he slept. I just silently admired him. The few cuts from yesterday have healed. He looked cleaned and taken care of.
"Hi.." I whispered. My voice came out hoarse and I felt the tears build up again when he didn't reply but of course he wasn't going to reply he couldn't move nor speak. He was in a coma. Temporary coma. "Wake up soon. I'll be waiting." I kissed his head. It was cold. I pulled away and ran my hand through his hair before kissing his head again. I heard the heart monitor pick up a little bit. I smiled.
He can hear us. He is trying to wake up.
"Yeah I'm here." I held his hand and tears stoked my cheeks. I could've sworn I felt his hand clench mine.

I sat in his office. In his chair. At his desk. But I still have no idea what he actually did. The desk was clear all the draws were locked. Computer also locked. I sat back and snuggled into the comfortable chair. What does Rhys do? A soft knock came from the door. I quickly sat up straight telling the person to come in.
"Luna." He bowed. The word made my whole body flush with pride. "Beta Justin wants to see you in the kitchen." He added.
"Okay." I said. He leaves and I sigh. I must have looked really weird in an over sized hoodie at a desk anyway. I walk down to stairs to met Justin. He is silently whispering to someone.
"So do we tell her?" The man asked. Justin and him were talking with their backs turned from the entrance of the kitchen.
"No. It's her first day.. Let's not overwhelm her." Justin whispered back. Neither of them sensing my presence.
"What would alpha think?" The man asked again. Justin sighed and whispered something I didn't catch.
"I guess you forgot your in a house full of wolfs no use of whispering." I mumble mocking Justin. I knew he can hear me but the curses that flew out his mouth just clarified it.
"Alexia." My bother turn towards me I only glared.
"What are you hiding?" I asked towards the other person in the room. He still had his back towards me. My wolf acted before I could and growled. The man turned and bowed.
"I-I'm sorry Luna." He said softly. "There is a slight problem in the cells.." He trails off and looks at Justin. The man looked back down once looking at Justin no longer then a second.
"Slight problem?" I asked. We had cells? I guess that should have been kinda obvious.
"Yes Luna." He lifts his head. Justin tries to get his attention but the man eyes stay on me.
"What problem?" I asked again.
"Vampires." He whispers. The room stays silent for a while.
"Vampires?" I asked.
"Yes Luna." He nods. I look over to Justin and he looks away. My wolf growls inside of me trying to take control. My mind only draws blank. I thought we were finished fighting with them. Anthony was dead. Why didn't this problem die with him?
