Chapter 30

We were walking for a while now. I don't know where we are going. My wolf was excited thinking we would mate.. In the middle of the woods. I was excited thinking of what surprise was waiting for me. Rhys stopped and put me on my feet. I stood still as he held me from behind.

"I've missed you so much. I promise to protect you better from now on." He kissed my mark and my wolf purred wanting to get out. I was lost for words. I didn't know how to respond. He let me go. "Keep your eyes closed." He said. His voice was more distant now but I obeyed. I didn't move an inch. I focused more on trying to figure out where we were. I herd slight rustling. It could have been the breeze that just came through. It smelled like nature there was a wonderful smell coming closer and closer to me. No it wasn't Rhys. It was something else. "Okay open them." Rhys said I can hear the nervousness in his voice. I opened my eyes and they took in the scene before me.

"Rhys." I gasped covering my mouth. My eyes started to burn with tears. Rhys held a bouquet of all white flowers.

"I love you Alexia. With all my heart. I know we don't really have a choice to be together since we are bonded by fate. I know this might be a lot to take in. But I want to spend the rest of my life with you. You're strong when you need to be a caring when you don't. I love you. The pack loves you. You are perfect mate and Luna. I want you to be by my side as I rule over the pack. Our pack. In order to be Luna you have to accept the pack and you have to accept everyone in it. The pack accepted you and I hope you accept them too. We have been through problems and there is only gonna be more in the future but I can't think of anyone I rather get through problems with then you." He gets down on one knee. "Alexia Olivia Michaels will you be My Forever?" Rhys asked pulling out a ring. I was crying now. Tears soaked my cheeks. My heart felt like it was about to pop out of my chest. I'm sure my makeup was running and I probably looked a mess. I stared at Rhys to see his love and hopefulness.

"Yes." I said. My voice was hoarse but I was happy. Wolves didn't really ask for marriage they were going to be together forever anyway. But this was the closest thing I'll get to a proposal and I loved it. I loved him. Rhys stood up and smashed his lips into mine. Our lips moved in sync with one another. His arms were protectively wrapped around my waist. My wolf was fighting to be let out. Rhys pulled away and stood arms length in front on me. He took my hand.

"This is where my great grandfather and my grandfather gave their mates this ring. It's been in my family for years. It's suppose to bring good luck and guidance." He slipped the ring on my finger. I looked at the ring as the dark blue gem shined under the moonlight.

"I'm glad to wear it." I said.

"We should get going." He held my hand and walked to where the car was parked. We drove to the pack house. Everything was set up in beautiful white and blue. The ceremony started once everyone was in there spots and Kat fixed my makeup while Rhys went on stage. Rhys repeated the vows after his father and the crowd watched intensely as they cut their palms and mixed blood.

I felt Rhys' energy become more strong. Everyone bowed so I follow. I never been to one of these before My head was lifted up and the pack started cheering. Rhys smiled and pulled me to the small stage.

"Relax." He said softly. I calmed my breathing. "Repeat after me." Rhys said. I nod. "I Alexia Michaels, promise to stand by Alpha Rhys and protect the pack with my life." He said. I repeated it. "Through good and bad times I will stay strong and work with the pack." He continued and I repeat. "As Luna I will never abandon my reasonably." He finished and I repeated. Rhys cut his palm again then mine. Our blood mixed as we held the cuts together. The pack cheered.

"That's my sister." Markus yelled and I laughed. Rhys kissed me and I got off stage. Next was Justin. I cheered and he bowed causing some girls to over react. Since he was mateless and was my twin so it seemed okay. For the rest of the night I chatted with pack members and some members from neighboring packs. Some of Rhys siblings were there too. He had 4 older siblings all of them lived in different states. It was a fun gathering and it was very busy. The food wa great and the theme colors really made it look beautiful. My brothers and I were joking around as Rhys came up to me. He took my hand and led me into the pack house. I saw a few warrior wolves rush to where I was.

Rhys and I went upstairs. He undid buttons of his suit and I went to take off my make up. When I stepped back into the room Rhys picked me up and laid me on the the bed. I stared at him in confusion which was soon forgotten as he kissed me. My arms wrapped around his neck bringing him closer. He undid my dress and I helped him slip it off. Rhys kissed down my neck to my mark and started sucking and nibbling on that one spot. I moan letting my hands roam his body. I was sure I was about to release but he pulled away. An angry growl rumbled up my throat. Rhys smiled against my skin and started leaving more kisses down my chest.

"No no. You're just bigger than I expected." I quickly protest.

"I'm hurting you Alexia. We can try again later. I don't want you to be in pain."

"One last try." I plead and he starts pushing in agin. I hold in the pain until he's fully in. After a few minutes I open my eyes again. He stares at questioning if I was okay. I nod.

"Are you ready?" He kissed me softly.

"Yes." I said. Slowly Rhys pulled halfway out before pushing back in. He didn't go to fast. It still hurt I just relaxed until the pain turned to pleasure. Rhys picked up speed seeing that I was okay.

"You're so tight." He said almost pulling all the way out before slamming right back in. Making me scream with pleasure each time he did it. "Faster." I panted. Rhys went faster.
