When I woke up Jane was on the floor unconscious. I saw that her eye was beginning to change color and lip was split open. Her hair was matted to her head with blood. She had scratches all over her body with blood pouring out of each wound. That's all I could smell was blood it overpowered the trees that surround me. Ignoring my headache I stood trying to remember what the hell happened. Last thing I remembered was Jane attacking me. She was now an enemy since she attacked me. If you weren't with me you were against me.

I walked towards the direction of the faint scent if Seth. I cursed as I ran to catch up with them. I could barely pick up his scent now. Then it was gone growling in irritation the scent was gone. I have no idea where I was It would only be a matter of time before either someone checks Seth's room or Jane wakes up. It was too late to turn back now.

"Fuck." I cursed out loud running faster in which way I thought was right way.

My body felt like it was about to break down. I ran into something well someone. My eyes started to pour with the emotion I've been trying to hold in. I miss my mate. I sobbed into the stranger's chest I ran into as they wrapped their arms tightly around me. I lost my chance to get to Rhys.

"It's okay. I'm right here." Rhys voice spoke softly. I looked up to see Rhys. I smashed my lips into his triggering the most passionate kiss we have ever shared. I pulled away panting. I said holding his face with my hands.

"Seth." I said remembering why I was here.

"Who?" Rhys asked staring at the scratches and blood I had on me.

"Seth is coming. He's going to attack the pack. We have to prepare everyone." I said trying to go out the door. We were in his office now I don't know how I even got here but I wasn't going to question it. At least when my pack was in danger. Rhys held me tightly against his body making it so I couldn't move. He hadn't respond either so I quietly waited for his response enjoying his warm touch and steady breathing.

"I'm not letting them take you again. You will be going to the safe room with the other woman and children. The warriors and I will handle the vampires. You need to focus on staying safe." Rhys said. I opened my mouth to disagree but then there was another passionate kiss. "We don't have a lot of time." He said. I nodded agreeing with that. Rhys pulled me out of the office and towards the safe room. There were mothers holding their children, woman standing around and warriors standing guard of the door. They were all shocked to see me. I turned to Rhys he gave me a looked that begged me to not fight or argue with him.

"I love you." I said simply.

"I love you too." He kissed me quickly before jogging out of the room and back into the house. I couldn't smell Seth now but I knew he was close. It was as if I could sense him.

"Welcome back Luna." A woman said.

"Thank you." I said as the guards closed the doors. Three stayed inside with the other two were outside. I looked around seeing mother's comforting their terrified kids. I sat on the floor and tried to talk to my wolves. They haven't said a word since I saw Rhys.

He will be back. Mystery snapped at her. Ivy growled at her.

'Stop. We have to focus .' I said shutting them both up. Why are they still arguing? We saw Rhys and we we're back home. I heard a loud bang and I remembered what I was supposed to be doing. I focused on the body heat and scent of whoever was now in the house. It was only one vampire. I'm sure the guards can handle one vampire. Seth took 8 men with him so it was only 7 still outside. The fighting outside grew distant into the woods. I couldn't tell what he was doing. The house was silent now except the whistling that had started. I didn't know where it was coming from but it was taunting. The children were silent so were the mothers. The only thing that was heard was the whistling of whoever was now in the house. I got a strange feeling in my stomach like I had before. I got up then opened the door. The guards tried to stop me but I glared at them and they stopped in there places.

"We need to move." I said quietly. I knew this would start an uprising of noise so I stared all of them down. Last time I got this feeling and didn't act I was taken. This time the feeling in my stomach was telling me to leave right now. The whistling continued like a record player stuck on repeat it was bone chilling.

"I know my little warriors are not scared of some noise." I said to the children. "We can escape the enemy if we are quiet and quick." I continued.

"I don't like vampire's Luna." A little girl said tears about to spill from her eyes.

"This vampire isn't scary. He wants to test you. To see if you are brave enough to be warrior's for our pack." I said softly. "Don't you want to protect our pack?" I ask and there were nods. "Then let's get moving. I'll be right here the whole time." I said but.. no one moved.

"Promise?" The girl asked.

"I promise." I smiled. Everyone got up and the whistling got louder which meant that who ever it was knew we were here and they were getting closer. "To the side exit." I said. The guard nods and begins to walk out of the room. I stay behind everyone. There wasn't many people here. The others were probably in the safe house on the other side the territory. Children went first and where extremely silent. I smiled at the mothers and women to follow the kids.

That's when the whistling stopped. The first few kids were out the door when I smelt it. There was a fire. I stayed calm though some children looked back to see if I was still behind them. They would smile once they seen I kept my promise.

When I stepped outside the burning scent only got stronger the guards looked at me asking what was next. I glanced at the woods by my stomach and my brain screamed no. I had to find another way.. a safer way.

"Is there a bus or something that you can get?" I asked.

"Alpha will not be happy with this." One if the guards said.

"Neither will I if you don't do as I say." I snapped. I took a deep breath trying to calm my wolves down. "Is there something or not ? We can't waste time." Authority was clear in my voice this time. One of the guards ran towards the front of the house and I decided he was getting a bus or anything for transpiration.

"Luna." A child called and I bent down to their level.

"You guys did great. We escaped the enemy." I high fived them all.

"Where did you go Luna?" They asked. All of their faces showing curiosity. I remember I looked like I just survived a war as thought.

"Well.." I started my lie. The other woman stared at me wondering what was my excuse for being gone for a little over a month. "I was training." I said.

"Alpha said you would be back soon but you were gone for a long time." Another child said.

"I know I'm sorry. I might have to leave again.." I said and they whined in protest but I quickly quieted them. "But I will be back soon. I will need each of you to take care of the pack if I go away again." I said.

"Yes Luna." They all said as a van pulled up next to us.

"Luna we have to hurry." I nod and told the children to get onto the van. Surprisingly everyone fit more or less. The guard volunteered to drive while the rest of the guards run in wolf form. Including myself and two other female warriors there will be 6 of us protecting the outside.

"Safe house." I tell him and he starts to drive off. I shift and follow the van the others follow me running along the sides and back of the van. I believe that this was good and we would make it. Then I hear a growl. A growl that terrified the children inside the van. There hearts raced but they stayed silent. I saw something running with us coming straight toward me as it jumped from behind the trees aiming right for me. I jumped in mid air we collided into each other rolling towards the trees on the other side of the road.
