{Image above is Jona, in case you wanted a clearer vision of what he looked like. :) If you're content with using your imagination, that's fine as well.}

Gally's POV:

Disposing of the crew, that was the easy part. The hard part? Landing the Berg I was currently inside,thousands of feet off the ground. That- was not going to be easy.Probably should have waited to kill them after we'd landed. Because now, well, I was in a bit of a predicament.

Lilli's POV:

He was standing a few feet away, his head still obviously recovering from the hit he had received from Chris. He didn't seem enraged, as he wiped his hands off on his khaki pants, as though the act of attempting to murder me with his own to hands had been the kind of dirty work he was not suited to handle. I rolled my eyes, growing angry just at the site of him. Shai took a step forward, blocking me from him. Whether that was based on her assumption that he might hurt me again, or that I might hurt him-I don't know.

"If you know what's best for you, you'll just out the escape door before we change our minds and kill you." Shai muttered harshly. Jona just chuckled, shaking his head.

"See,I don't think that's the smartest idea on your part. You see, this plane, is piloted automatically. And, while I'm sure the three of you were smart enough to switch out the keys for the emergency shut down button, you failed to recognize the fact that, none of you know how to fly this plane. Now, considering it's piloted automatically, it's an easy mistake to make. But you see, it's controlled, via our fingerprints, and personal passcode. Which means, if you kill me, you won't be able to get down. You'll be stuck up here. Unless, of course, you want to jump. But, without parachutes- the chance of survival is minimal to impossible." He stated smugly. How would we have been so stupid! We didn't even think about the method of piloting the plane was programmed under. Makes sense that it could be activated only with the finger print and passcode of the crew. And there was only one left alive.

"You don't have parachutes on this thing?" Chris asked, confused and aggravated. Jona rolled his eyes dismissively.

"Of course not. That would be ridiculous. Any crew member in danger can simply pilot the ship to safety. Anyone else, who needs a parachute,is obviously, an un-welcomed guest. Shai sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose, as though she were beyond done dealing with all of this mayhem.

"Uggh...fine.What's your proposition?" She asked, folding her arms across her chest as Chris helped me stand. Jona smiled.

"I pilot this ship to safety, which I have no reason not to do considering I also want to live. And you...keep me alive, and take me with you. Into the Scorch Trials." I raised an eyebrow, pushing lightly past Shai as I glared at him with pure rage.

"Why the hell would we do that?" I questioned coarsely. Jona smiled, as though there was another piece to the puzzle that he had the pleasure of revealing to our feeble minds.

"The fantastic thing about these planes, is that they're set on an automatic, irreversible timer. Each of our data extractions takes exactly 6 hours. At the end of the 6 hour time span, the plane automatically notifies us that we have to go back. Then, one of the crew members places in the fingerprint and passcode, and the plane flies back to Code Black Headquarters. Which means, in just a couple hours, it's going to notify you that you need to return back to base.And if you don't respond within 10 minutes, the plane automatically notifies the headquarters. At this point in time, Code Black Headquarters sends out an investigation team. Now, as you can imagine, if they found a crashed plane, with dead bodies sprawled across the floor,and your finger prints all over it- they'd come looking for two specific individuals. And as ex- WICKED members, I'm sure you're fully aware of the extent they will go, to ensure that any traitors are taken care of." We were taken aback, of course, but Shai kept her cool.

"How are you suppose to help us with this?" Jona took a step forward.

"As crew captain, and you're both very fortunate that I am, I can override the programming. Completely unlawful, mind you. It's only used in dyer situations, but essentially, it a systematic override,that erases the entire existence of the hovercraft, and each of it's passengers, from the WICKED system. As if we never existed. You see,the directors at WICKED, they rely totally and completely on the programs. No one really knows anybody, if you're not in the system,no one will come looking. It's just, as if you fell off the face of the earth. All of our jobs can be replaced within seconds. They don't need us, we're not valuable. And the sooner you come to terms with that, the more successful you become in WICKED. So if you want to escape, which you obviously do, you'll ally with me. You keep me alive, take me with you. And I get us out of here, leaving not even a trace." I sighed, glancing over at Shai. She bit her lip, signaling her thoughts as "What other choice do we have?".

"Why do you want to go with us anyway?" I asked hesitantly. Jona shrugged.

"You have things that you want to accomplish, I have things that I want to accomplish. But don't flatter yourself, I'm thinking big scale here,I'm not going to go all that way with you blabbering baboons, just to murder you, or your precious friends. You're commodities at best, not worth my time. Look, you've got about an hour and a half before the plane notifies you. Reprogramming takes about half an hour, at it's fastest. You don't have tons of time to puts around and think over this. It's simple really. Ally with me, and survive, or kill me, and you all die. That is, if you're lucky. If you're unlucky, which most people in these scenarios are, you'll receive a life, far far worse than the most painful death you could possibly imagine. Not just to you, but to all of your loved ones.Even the ones, that you have yet to love. They'll destroy them. So ladies, what'll it be?"

Author's Note: Sorry for the short chapter, but I figured a short chapter is better than no chapter at all! :) Updating more soon, never fear! xoxo
