Never Forgetting What She Did

chapter 9- my best friend is dating my best friend

I woke up and took a walk because I needed to clear my mind. It was peaceful this morning. All I heard was the birds chirping and the slight gust of wind blowing every now and then. My phone rings and something on messages pops up so I click on it. It was a video sent from John.

Okay....

I clicked on it. It had Ember and Michael at the park. Instantly I smiled.
Ember- why'd you take me here?
Michael- I have something else to tell you.
Ember- listen I know you don't want to be fr-
He shushes her and puts his finger on her lips.
Michael- Ember I'm sorry...
Ember- what?
Michael- I'm sorry that I said I didn't want to be friends with you anymore because I do. I'm not lying either. And actually I want to be more than friends....I want you to be my girlfriend...
Ember- Michael...
Michael- please...will you be my girlfriend?
Embers face was shocked and you could see her eyes glimmer but no tears fall.
Ember- yes...I would love to be your girlfriend.
Ember and Michael hug each other for a few moments but what happens next shocks me.......to death. Michael lifts embers head up and slowly leans in until his lips crash into hers and a few seconds later they pull away. I could see the happiness in both of their eyes. I wanted to say the kissing part was gross but they their both my best friends so...I really didn't care. The video ended and I smiled to myself.
Why do I have such weird friends?
I ask myself that question a lot. But I'm weird too so I can't blame them. Someone taps my shoulder and I turn around to see ember smiling really big at me.
Ember and Keegan in unison-EEEEKKKKK!!!!!!
Ember- oh my gosh Keegan it was sooo romantic.
I stiffled a laugh.
Keegan- you guys were in the middle of the park how's that romant-
Ember- shush shush shush...your not gonna ruin the moment for me.
We both laughed.
Ember- so what have y-whoa what happened to your wrist? Don't tell me you did self harm? Did you?! Omg!! WHAT WERE YOU THINKING!!
Keegan- Ember, geez! Calm down and no I didn't do self harm I'm not that kind of person you know that!
Ember- yeah I know but seriously what happened?
I was trying to think up of something to tell her because I didn't want her to know that Adam did that to me. Then she spoke up.
Ember- Did you get mad and a accidentally bang your fist off the table again?
Keegan- um yeah I uh got mad because of a football game.
Ember- So Dallas didn't win?
Keegan- Well Romo got injured...again.
Ember- Well ok then.
We just hung out the whole day with Michael, John, and Evan there too. Then I went home and fell asleep.
