Never Forgetting What She Did

chapter 38- Day One

I woke up and got dressed. After I got dressed I looked at the calendar on my phone. I just now realized that Sunday is Valentine's Day. That's why Adam said he was taking me somewhere. I went downstairs and everyone was in the kitchen. Alyssa saw me first and jumped out of her chair and jumped on me. I picked her up and I saw that her eyes were watery.
Keegan- hey what's wrong?
Alyssa- your...your leaving.
I don't say anything I just hug her tighter. I will admit it...I will miss Alyssa a lot. She's like a sister to me. Of course no one could replace Elliot but after Elliot died there was always a part of me that felt empty and Alyssa filled that part of me up. The empty feeling was gone.
Molly- Keegan if you would can you take her upstairs. I think she needs a nap.
I took her up stairs and laid her down on her bed. I covered her up with a blanket and gave her one of her favorite stuff animals.
I was about to leave when she spoke up.
Alyssa- You know....Adam's changed....ever since he met you.
Keegan- What do you mean?
Alyssa- He hasn't brought any other girls home. He tells me he loves you and he seems....happy again.
Keegan- I love Adam too and im glad he seems more happy.
Alyssa- Thanks for taking me to my room and...
She yawned and I thought it was adorable.
Alyssa- I love you just as Mich as Adam sis.
She called me sis. She's so sweet and cute. I know she means that she loves me as a sister. I love her as a sister too. I really do.
Keegan- I love you too sis. I always will.
She smiled and she drifted off to sleep. I turn around and I see Adam at the door. I walk out of Alyssa's room and quietly shut the door.
Adam- You guys really love each other don't you?
Keegan- Yeah of course. I feel like she's my second sister.
Adam- Yeah.
He took my hand and we intertwined our fingers together.
Adam- Come on you need to start packing.
Oh yeah right....that. we walk in my room and get out a suitcase and two bags. I grab all of my accessories while Adam grabbed my clothes. Adam was neatly folding my clothes and putting them in the suitcase. He even got my bras and underwear. He's so weird. I dont mimd though. After all we are dating.
Adam- uh...Kk?
Keegan- Yeah?
I turn my head and looked at what he was holding. My eyes widen. He was holding a bra and underwear outfit with a lace cover up. Oh bloody hell.
Keegan- I um uhh.....funny story you see...uh well John kind of...got that for me....for my last birthday. He said I would need it in my future.
I could tell Adam was trying not to laugh. But he calmed down. Then he started to smirk.
Adam- Yeah...you will be using this.
Keegan- how do you know that I'll actually use-
I stopped in the middle of my sentence. Adam licked his lips. He started to walk towards me. I backed up into a wall. Just great. Then he put his arms on each side of me.
Adam- You know when.
Keegan- No... I really don't.
I did but I wanted to know what he was thinking.
Adam- After marriage.
He backed away from me and started to put my clothes away again. I laughed to myself. For a moment I was scared about what he was gonna say.

*later on*
We were half way through being done packing but we decided to do the rest tomorrow and relax. Well relax with the time we had. I have dance later today. It's 4:00 right now and I have dance at 6:00. That's later than what I would usually have it but I don't care. I love to dance anyway. Adam was getting us food from Taco Bell and I was coming down the stairs but I stopped and his in a corner because I saw Molly and my dad talking to each other. Then all the sudden they kissed. Like they kissed each other on...the lips. You would probably think I would be mad but surprisingly I'm not. I feel happy for my dad. At least he isn't with Sarah. I know he's been keeping it behind my back but I didn't tell him I was dating Adam. He had to figure out that by himself. As long as they don't get married then I'm perfectly fine. I don't think my dad would propose anyway I mean not to long ago him and Sarah called off their wedding which I was really happy about. Adam came through the door. He didn't see me and went to the kitchen.
Adam- Dinners here!
Everyone came in the kitchen. Adam and Andy passed out everyone's food. Andy was about to hand me mine.
Keegan- you can put it in the fridge or something.
Andy- Why?
Keegan- I have dance soon. I'll eat afterwards.
Andy- Ok whatever you say.
I checked the time on my phone and decided to get ready for dance. I got my dance clothes on and I got my dance bag. I grabbed my car keys and was about to leave when Adam came up to me.
Adam- Your not gonna say goodbye?
Keegan- Oh right I'm sorry.
Adam- It's fine. It's not a big deal anyway.
I smiled at him. I went up and hugged him and kissed him on the cheek.
Adam- Don't get into trouble. I love you bye.
Keegan- I won't and I love you too.
I walked out of the front door but not before yelling goodbye to everyone. I got in my car and headed off to dance.

* at dance*

We only knew about 1/4 of the group dance so we were practicing that today.
Mrs. Kay- Ok we need to learn this dance fast. We have about three more practices before the final competition. Ok so let's start.
We all stretched and did some warm ups and then we finally stared to practice our group dance.

*after dance*
It was about 7:40 right now. It was kind of getting dark but not really. I got into my car and was heading back home. I went to a gas station to get some gas. While I was there I also got a cup of coffee. I was really exhausted. I paid for everything and put some gas into my car and then I got back in my car and left. About ten minutes passed by and I was finally at the house. I went inside and dropped my bag beside the couch. I went into the kitchen and warmed up my food. I was in the middle of eating and Adam came down.
Adam- How was dance?
Keegan- Tiring, fun, hard.
Adam- Did you...work on the duet?
Keegan- No.
Adam- Thank God.
I laughed at him.
Keegan- Jack is a good guy and plus he already has a girlfriend so you don't need to worry.
Adam- Like I've said before, I always worry about you.
I smiled at him. I through away all of the trash and got a water from the fridge and headed back upstairs. Adam followed me. I went into my room picked out some pajamas and got a towel.
Adam- Taking a shower?
Keegan- Yeah.
Adam- Can I join you?
I look at him in shock.
Keegan- Wha-what?
Then he burst out laughing.
Adam- I'm just kidding. You should of seen your face!
I let out a sigh of relief.
Keegam- Ok I'm gonna take a shower now...alone.
He just started laughing harder. We walked out of my room almost tripping and falling. I went to the bathroom and took a shower. I got dreesed and I laid in my bed. I covered myself up with a blanket. I was about to fully fall asleep when I heard someone lift the blankets up and lay next to me. I turn around and see Adam.
Adam- I hope you don't mind but since your leaving soon I want to spend all the time I can with you.
Keegan- I don't mind.
I cuddle with him. My face laying on his chest and his arms wrapped around me. I was so comfortable. I fell asleep peacefully.
