chapter 31- the lake.

Adam- hey Kk but your bathing suit on! We're about to leave!
I went int o the bathroom and changed. The bikini was black. I wore a white t-shirt and shorts over top the bikini. I walk out and Adam grabs my hand. We w nt in his car and left to go to the lake. When we got there I saw everyone already in the water. I went down and laid a towel down and sat on it. Adam was talking to John and then he...took his shirt off. I was trying not to stare but you know I guess it just didn't work out because Adam saw me looking and came up to me.
Adam- you really do like my body don't you?
Keegan- w-what!? Shut up!
Adam- I was just kidding. Now come on take you clothes off-I mean you know so you can swim.
He gave me a cheeky smile.
Keegan- no.
Adam- fine then.
Adam picked me up and quickly took my shirt off.
Keegan- what are you doing!?
Adam- I told you. Your swimming.
Keegan- n-no I'm not!
I started to run from him and then he tackled me. That hurt. He got on top of me and made sure I couldn't move my arms while he was...TAKING OFF MY SHORTS!
Michael- whoa is Keegan getting raped?
Everyone laughed.
Ember- go get some Keegan!
I mentally slapped myself. Why are they my friends again? Ugh. Adam got off me and I was now just in my bikini. Adam of course was staring like stupid perv.
Keegan- can you stop staring please?
Adam- uh oh y-yeah sorry.
I laughed a little. Then Evan picked me up and threw me into the water. Michael did the same with Ember. All day we kept on throwing each other into the water. Jumping off high places into the water. We ate food and drank soda and...I actually had a good time. Now I was laying down on my towel with Adam beside of me. John and Evan had to leave and Michael and Ember were still in the water. It was getting dark out. It was a little chilly too. Adam had his arm around me and noticed that I was cold.
Adam- you cold?
Keegan- yeah but I'm fi-
Adam- here.
He handed me his jacket.
Keegan- thanks.
Adam- anything for you.
Then all the sudden he crashed his lips into mine. They were a little wet from the water but I didn't care. We pulled away.
Adam- Keegan we need to do this more often.
Keegan- do what hang out?
Adam- no this...
He kissed me again and for the first time of my life...I blushed. I don't know why I didn't blush when he first kissed me. I guess it was because he said we should do it more often. We slowly pulled away and I put my hands around his neck. His hands were around my waist. I turned to look at Ember and Michael and well....they were kissing too.
Adam- I guess everyone was in a romantic mood. Oh and by the way your cute when you blush.
Keegan- I-I didn't blush I mean-
Adam- I know you did. I saw it.
Keegan- well maybe your color blind.
Adam- I'm not.
I turned my face away from him to once again blush. Adam took his hand and cupped my face and turned my head towards him. He was smirking at me.
Adam- see your blushing.
My eyes look down but my head doesn't move.
Keegan- what's the big deal about me blushing anyway?
Adam- I've never seen you do it before until now.
Michael- hey guys?
Adam let go of me and we looked at them. Ember was smiling like crazy.
Michael- were going now. We had a lot of fun. We should do this again.
Ember- yeah I had fun too. Bye Keegan. Bye Keegan boyfriend.
Adam- you can call me adam.
Ember- nah.
We all laughed a little and they left.
Adam- good we're finally alone.
Keegan- wait you wanted them to leave? Why?
He didn't say anything he just grabbed my hand and started walking toward the lake. We got to the edge of the lake.
Adam- I wanted to take another swim with you...but this time alone.
Keegan- why alone?
Adam- because it will be fun. Plus we're together now aren't we?
Keegan- yeah...we are.
We went into the water. The water was still warm. The water was a little below our shoulders now. At least for me. Adam turned to face me. We walked closer to me closing the distance between us.
Adam- do you love me?
Keegan- what?
Adam- just answer the question do you?
Keegan to be honest...I don't even know what love is. I don't know what it feels like or what it looks like. I just don't know.
Adam- love is that feeling you get when your around them. Your heart beats faster you get nervous but at the same time when your around them...you feel relaxed and safe. That's what I feel when I'm around you.
I thought about what he said for a moment. If that was really what love was then I felt like that around him all the time. I feel like that right now.
Keegan- Adam......I love you.
He smiled at me. I guess I felt like I had a lot of courage because this time I kissed him. He seemed surprised at first but quickly kissed me back. We pulled away.
Adam- I love you too.
I smile at him and he smiles back.

Wow this is really....really cheesy.

Keegan- this is really cheesy.
Adam- what?
Keegan- you know the " we're in the water telling each other how much we love each other and kissing and all that other cheesy crap" yeah that's what happened.
Adam z do you have to ruin all of the romantic scenes?
Keegan- well it's not like we're in a movie or a book. This is real. It isn't a fanasty.
Adam- yeah I know.
We walked back to get our stuff and we packed up and left.

*at the house*
I was tired but I didn't want to fall asleep so I was in Adam's room playing a video game. Alyssa was already asleep but For some odd reason though.....Molly and my dad weren't here.
