chapter 19- fighting fiance

I woke up to screaming downstairs. It sounded like my dad and Sarah. Oh no. I went downstairs and hid in a corner and peaked at them.
Sarah- why do you have to be so difficult!?
Dad-why so you have to make this difficult!?
I slowly went back up the stairs. I didn't want to see them fight anymore. I have never heard my dad yell like that. I was about to enter my room when Andy came out of his.
Andy-what's with all the screaming?
Keegan- Sarah and dad are fighting.
Andy- oh...are they still together and getting married?
Keegan-I don't know.
Andy- are you gonna find out?
Keegan- do you have to ask so many questions in the morning?
He groaned and went downstairs. I went in my room and took a shower and got dressed. I decide to sneak out of the house since they were still fighting. I got in my car and went to John's house to talk to him. He has went through this remarried thing before. I knock on his door and he answers it.
John- hey Keegan.
Keegan-hey um can we talk.
John-yeah my parents just went to go get breakfast. You wanna come in?
Keegan- Yeah.
I went in and we sat on the couch in the living room.
John- so what did you want to talk about.
Keegan- my dad
John- mmhm go on what about him?
Keegan- well he was fighting with Sarah this morning. I dont know why. Then they woke me up because they were screaming and I have never heard my dad yell like that...ever.
John- Yeah I understand. That's odd for your dad to yell. My mom and my step dad did the same thing before they got married.
Keegan- Yeah its just...hard to get used to.
John-yeah I know but you get used to it after a while. Are you still mad at your dad?
Keegan- Yeah I mean I never showed that I was mad because I love him it's just that he told me he would never replace my mom and never could do that and then he just...did.
John pulled me into a hug and I hugged him back. We pull away only to look into each others eyes. His eyes were green. A forest green. I wish my eyes were green instead of blue. We were slowly leaning in towards each other when a door opened and made us jump.

Ok that was turning weird real fast.

John- um my mom and step dad are back. You wanna eat with us?
Keegan- uh sure.
His mom came in and greeted me and same as his step dad. His moms name is Caroline and the step Dad's name is Chris. Chris wasn't a bad person he was a good dad to John and John actually kind of liked him.
Caroline- so Keegan what brings you here this early?
Keegan- well I came over to talk to John
Caroline- can you tell us what you guys were talking about?
Keegan- my dad and his new fiance...Sarah.
Chris- he's getting remarried?
I nodded.
Caroline- isn't that one of your mom's friends? Because I've heard that name before.
Keegan- Yeah it is.
John rubbed my back and Chris told me everything will turn out to be just fine.

I stayed there at Johns house for a few hours and it was now 5:30. I decided to leave and go home since I have a date with Adam.
I got in my car and drove to my house. But when I got there it wasn't a pretty site to see.
