chapter 21- the hospital

A bright light from the window shone on my eyes and made me wake up. I tried to get up but something pulled me back down. I noticed it was Adam. I sighed remembering what happened yesterday.
Adam- good morning Kk.
Keegan- morning.
I twisted to face him again and he opened his eyes. They were a bright baby blue. I love that color.
Adam- see something you like?
He smirked at me. I realized I was staring at him.
Keegan- Yeah I do.
He gave me a confused look.
Keegan- Your eyes.
Adam smiled and got up. I just realized he was shirtless. Dear God I slept with Adam.
Adam smirked again.
Adam- take a picture it last longer.
Keegan- Your very cocky.
I got up and we both left the room and went to the kitchen.
Adam- so you know how to cook?
Keegan- Yeah why?
Adam- I'm hungry.
I laughed a little and looked through the fridge.
Keegan- you like eggs?
Adam- Yeah.
I got the supplies I needed to make scrambled eggs. I poured the bowl of eggs on the hot pan on the stove and started cooking. After a few minutes I put the cooked eggs on two plates and gave one to Adam and one for me. We sat down and started eating.
Keegan- hey Adam?
Adam- Yeah
Keegan- can we visit my family at the h-hospital today?
I said it very quietly.
Adam- yes we can...anything for you.
He winked and we finished our breakfast. Adam put our plates in the sink.
Adam- you need a shower?
I nodded and followed him into the bathroom.
Keegan- I-I need clothes.
Adam- I'll grab some. Go ahead and get in.
He left and I got undressed and turned the shower on and got in the shower. Then I heard the door open. Really adam!?
Adam- got you some clothes.
I heard him close the door. After my shower I got out and looked to see what clothes he got me. It was a dress. I freaken dress. It was a light blue color. It was spaghetti strapped and went down to my knees. I put it on and came out of the bathroom and went in the living room to find Adam sitting down already dressed and ready. He was watching tv. He looked at me and his eyes widen.
Keegan- what?
Adam- you look...hot.
I slapped him and he smirked at me.
Adam- let's go.
Once we got to the hospital. We asked a nurse where my dad was and then we went to his room. He was sleeping. I sat in the chair beside it his bed. Adam just watched me the whole time.
I held my dad's hand and whispered that I loved him. After a few minutes we visited Sarah. She was hurt the least.
Sarah- Keegan
Keegan- Sarah what happened.
Sarah- well me and your dad were fighting and I was in the middle of coming and we had a grease fire and your dad had a bottle of gasoline to put in his car but the fire got to it and it made the fire worse and now we're here.
Keegan- I-Is my dad going to be ok?
Sarah- I asked the doctors that and they said that he was fine and just needs to heal but....but Andy....
My eyes widen and same as Adams.
Keegan- w-what about Andy is he ok!?
Sarah- I'm afraid not.
I ran to Andy's room with Adam following me from behind. I slowly open the door to see Andy in his bed with a oxygen tank to keep him breathing.
Keegan whispered- Andy...
Adam grabbed my hand and we interwined our fingers together. He was squeezing my hand every now and then. We both walked up to Andy and he woke up.
Andy- keegan?
Keegan- Yeah
Andy- what happened?
A doctor walked in.
Doctor- miss Maye?
Keegan- yes
Doctor- we have some bad news for you.
Keegan- what is it?
Doctor- Andy will not live that much longer. We don't know when he will pass but it will probably be soon.
Andy- I'm dying?
A tear ran down my face.
Doctor- I'm sorry.
He left the room.
Keegan- no Andy you will live I promise you no matter what.
Andy- promise?
Keegan- I promise.
Andy- thank you.
All the sudden he fell back asleep.
Adam- Come on we better go.
I nodded and we left the hospital. We went back to Adams house. I sat on the couch with Adam and then Ember, Michael, John, and Evan burst through the door.
