Chapter 20 (Louis’s P.O.V.)

I felt bad about the whole thing with Hannah. I knew Tracey didn’t want to be the one to have to tell Liam, but it was about time he was told. This whole deal between the two of them was rather depressing. I think that was the reason that Tracey and I started our little plan. We knew that those two were going to need a nudge in the right direction. But I needed to put that to the side for now. Eleanor had come down for a few weeks and Perrie for a week, and were here to visit with me and Zayn.

I missed getting to see Eleanor like we did before One Direction took its leap into international stardom. Things were a lot easier back then. And Eleanor didn’t have a jealous streak like she had now. I’m sure it’s developed because I was always traveling the world and have millions of crazy fan-girls screaming my name. I mean, if our roles were reverse I would probably be the same way.

“So what do you want to do?” Eleanor said as she snuggled into my shoulder more.

We were currently sitting on the couch, watching TV. I was actually quite comfortable, but I could tell that she wanted to get up and do something. So I turned my head to look down at her and smiled, “What do you want to do?”

“How about we go out somewhere?”

I nodded my head before she sprung up to go get her shoes. I could understand why she wanted to go out for the day. Her and Perrie got here this morning and hadn’t seen any of LA with us yet. Zayn and Perrie were actually out right now, even though she had been here before with Little Mix. I smiled as Eleanor came back into the room. She had a smile on her face as she walked over and looped her arm in mine. We were about to walk out the door when my phone went off.

“Hello?” I answered it as I stopped. I didn’t want to go walking around on the phone. I wanted to take care of this call before I took Elie out for the day.

“Hey, Lou we need to get crackin’.”

I immediately recognized the voice. It was Tracey. I looked at Eleanor. She was leaning on the door, looking at me curiously. I held up my hand to signal to give me a minute. She sighed but nodded back at me.

                “What do you mean?”

“I just talked to Sabrina and she said that Hannah seems to be in the same state as Liam. And something needs to be done to give those two a pick-me-up.”

I nodded my head, “Oh, really?”

“Yeah,” she replied, “and evidently Perrie’s with Zayn and told Bri off.”

I could believe that, “Yeah, actually Eleanor’s here too.”

I looked over at her as I said her name. She was looking at me suspiciously. I think she could hear Tracey’s voice.

“Who are you talking to?” she asked as she walked over to me. I had been right. All the Elie knew was that I was talking to some girl that she didn’t know, this could end badly.

“Just a friend.” I told her.

                “What?” I heard Tracey asked.

“Oh sorry,” I said, “I was talking to Eleanor.”

“Oh okay.” I heard her mumble. “Well, call me when you’re free later. We have a plan to finish.”

                “Alright, Tracey.” I said, “Later.”

                “Later, Lou.”

And with that, the both of us hung up. I turned to Eleanor, who was looking at me with her arms crossed.

                “What?”

“Who is this Tracey girl?” she spat Tracey’s name as if it were poison. Yeah, I was right, this was ending badly.

“She’s a friend of Hannah’s,” I started, “who is the girl the Liam likes, and she is helping me plan how to get those two together.”

She lowered her arms, “Okay.” She smiled as she walked over and looped her arm in mine again. I knew she wasn’t buying it. Elie had already made up her mind about Tracey. I just needed to go take her out and get her in a good mood.
