Chapter 47 (Louis’s P.O.V.)

I was so excited I was practically dancing around mine and Niall’s room. I was about to leave to go pick up Tracey for our first date. I almost couldn’t believe that she had told me yes. That day last week had been one of the greatest days of life. Okay, that had been one of the greatest weeks of my life.

“Ay! Lover boy, stop before you break something.” Niall said from the door. He was holding a bag of chips in his hands.

“I can’t help it!” I exclaimed as I skipped over to him. I shoved my hand in the bag and grabbed a handful as I ran from him.

“Not you too!” he yelled after me as I darted out the front door.

I smiled as I walked down the street. I really wanted to get there already and debated on whether or not to run. I decided against it. I would just have to be patient. I even saw Zayn and Sabrina walking by. They seemed so happy. That just made me so much more anxious to get to Tracey’s already.

The next ten minutes were the longest ten minutes of my life. I almost jumped for joy when her building came into view. I must have had the stupidest grin on my face as I knocked on her door. She opened the door, smiling too. She was dressed in a pair of orange skinny jeans and a black tank top. It was a simple outfit, but it looked great on her.

“Well, hello gorgeous.” I said causing her to smile at me.

“You don’t look half bad yourself.” She chuckled as she stepped aside.

I walked in, heading straight for the couch. Her place still seemed to be pretty clean. I mean, it should be with how long it took us to clean after Eleanor had trashed it.

“I’ll be ready in a minute.” She said as she headed for her room, “I just need to put my shoes on.”

I waited patiently for her to return.

“I forgot!” she exclaimed as she ran into the room and over to her calendar on the wall.

“What?” I asked as I stood to go look over her shoulder.

“Hannah’s birthday.” She looked at me as she pointed at a day on the calendar.

“That’s in two days.” I said. My face dropped, “We have a concert that day.”

Tracey turned and looked at me, a grin coming to her face. I knew that look. She was starting to plot something.

                “What are you thinking?”

She rubbed her chin as if in thought before looping her arm in mine, walking toward her door to leave. “How good are you at planning birthdays?”

I immediately started grinning back. This was going to be the greatest first date ever.
