Chapter 41 (Niall’s P.O.V.)

Time was just flying by too fast. Alice left yesterday and we couldn’t go because of an interview and then this morning we had to go record because we were falling behind schedule for the new album. And on top of all of that, the girls were leaving to go back to filming tomorrow and the boys and I were leaving for three weeks to do some touring. And since today was our last day together, we decided that we were all going to go out and have a fun time.

“That movie was better than I thought it would be.” Liam said as we walked out of the theatre.

“Yeah,” I added, “It wasn’t completely a chick flick.” Harry added.

The girls were all shaking their heads at us. We had just seen Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment. I have read the books and knew that it wouldn’t be a chick flick at all, so I really wanted to laugh at them for their stupidity.

“It wasn’t a chick flick at all.” Tracey said. She stood next to me as we walked down the street. I learned on the way here, Tracey and Hannah had both read the book and were just as excited to see the movie as I was, something that the guys couldn’t seem to understand.

“Yeah, there was more action than anything.” Hannah said. I nodded my head. She was right.

“Yeah,” Louis chimed in, “Even I noticed that and I wasn’t really playing attention.”

We all glared at him out of the corner of our eye and some sighed. Through the entire movie, Louis had been trying to pull pranks on us. He even pulled one on someone that was sitting a few rows in front of us. He went and tied the poor guy’s shoelaces together. I thought about telling the poor guy, but he figured it out as soon as he stood up to go somewhere. Luckily, he noticed it before he stepped. This disappointed Louis, he was really hoping that he would trip.

“Well it was good movie,” Zayn said, trying to change the subject.

“Yes, it was.” Sabrina said as they walked behind me. They were probably still holding hands too. I was so happy that they had gotten together. I felt that Sabrina was good for Zayn and he was good for her. I was still going to play as her big brother.

“I vote Trace and Hannah pick movies from now on.” Sabrina said as she raised her hand to signal she was voting. Louis and Zayn rose their hands, I did too. They had did a good job at picking out a movie that we all enjoyed.

“It’s settled then,” Louis said as he slung an arm around Tracey’s shoulder, “Looks like you are one of our official movie pickers. How do you feel about that?” he was asking like he was holding a microphone and interviewing her. Tracey played along.

“It is truly an honor and I am sure that Hannah feels the same way. All we can do is thank our fans who voted for us.”

We all chuckled as the two of them continued as we walked. I wasn’t sure where we were going. Actually, I don’t think anyone did. We were just walking.

                “Hannah?”

I looked up ahead, seeing a boy who about our height with brown hair standing in front of Hannah. She had stopped in her tracks and Liam seemed to tense up beside her.

                “Go away, Jake.” Hannah said.

                “I told you that I wasn’t-“

But Hannah cut him off, “You are done Jake. I don’t want to hear anymore.” She tried to walk around the boy, but he grabbed her arm and forced her to turn back to look at him. That was a really bad idea. Liam pulled him off of Hannah as the other four of us guys tensed up.

“Leave her alone.” Liam was in his face before turning back to Hannah.

This Jake guy didn’t learn though, “I don’t have to.”

I watched Liam’s face turn sour before he turned around to knock him out, but Hannah grabbed his arm. “No, Liam. I don’t want you getting mixed up in this.”

Liam growled a little, but let his arm rested at his side. Jake got a smug smirk on his face. It seemed he was enjoying himself, or so he thought. As soon as she had stopped Liam, Hannah had balled her other hand up in a fist. In a flash, we all watched her fist make contact with his nose. He stumbled backward from the force of her punch, blood coming from his nose. I stared in shock, I had never imagined Hannah punching anyone like that.

“Why you little…” Jake started as he stepped toward Hannah. She was ready to go another round and I was sure that she would have won, but Liam didn’t think so. He stepped in Jake’s way, keeping Hannah behind him.

“Move pretty boy.” Jake said as he got in Liam’s face.

                “No.” Liam said.

This aggravated him, so he pushed Liam, “Move or I’ll move you.”

Oh, he had done it now. As soon as he had pushed Liam, the rest of us came up to them, two of to their left and two to their right. We pretty much had Jake boxed him. I could tell he was getting nervous as he took a step back.

“A bunch of tough guys huh?” He looked at all of us as he continued to step back. Before any of us could say anything to him, he turned and began to run away.

“I’ll be back.” He called back to us. We all just started laughing. Even if he did come back, he wouldn’t stand a chance.
