I managed to find my way back and called Louis as I kept walking until I recognized the way to our hotel. He was the first person that popped up in my mind.

After a couple rings, he answered. "Hey! How was the hike?"

I wanted to cry already. "It sucked! I'm upset and I don't know where the hell I am and I just-" I was a mess by now, sniffling and getting choked up on my words.

"Ev, breathe for me, okay? Look around you and tell me what you see. You three hiked from Fira to Oia right?"

I nodded, even though he couldn't see. "Yeah. Wait, I kinda remember the way we came up here."

"Yeah, trace back your steps and you'll see the little market place at the end and I'll meet you there."

"Don't hang up on me, please?"

"I won't, Ev."

I did what Louis told me to do and traced back my steps and eventually found the market. He tried to uplift my mood by giving me riddles to solve and telling me jokes along the way.

I noticed Louis standing in the midst of people and I felt so relieved. "I see you now."

He lifted up his hand and waved me over as I ended the call. I approached him as he held open his arms and pulled me in for a hug.

"What's wrong, love?" he asked me and I wasn't even bothered by it because we all know that he calls everyone love. That's just his thing.

I pulled away and sighed. "Maia."

"Fucking hell," he spat. "You left them together?"

I winced at those last four words. "It's whatever. Where's Eleanor?"

Louis looked at me with worry. "She's with the girls. Evelyn, just talk to me."

"Can we get a drink first?"

He chuckled, nodding his head. "I won't say no to that."

Before we found a place to go, I called my dad to check up on Ash and Ella, totally forgetting the time difference. They were just getting up and I had a quick conversation with Ella and my heart ached. I missed my little ones so much.

The call ended and I slid my phone back into my bag and grinned. Hearing Ella's voice made me happy despite the way I've been feeling lately.

"To the club we go!" Louis cheered as soon as he let Eleanor know what was going on and held out his elbow as I linked my arm around it.

"Go girl, it's ya birthday! Open wide, I know ya thirsty!" Louis sang. "Even though it isn't your birthday but let's just pretend."

I threw my head back in laughter. "Pretending will do."

Another shot won't hurt either.

"Say aah!" We sang in unison to Trey Songz that blasted throughout the club.

"Let me hear you say aah!" Louis continued to sing along.
