Ella and Ash were taking their daily afternoon nap and I finally got to have a little time to myself. I let out a deep breath and relaxed on the couch with a glass of strawberry lemonade and turned on the t.v to catch up on my favorite show that just so happens to be Greys Anatomy.

Watching it makes me miss Seattle so much.

"Its a beautiful day to save lives," I muttered the classic line from the show, frowning as I let it begin and reminisced over Derek Shepard aka McDreamy. (A/N: if you love this show as much as I do, we are automatically bffs)

My phone went off and I reached for it on the arm of the couch to check it.

I'm excited for date night :)

I read the text message from Zayn and smiled to myself. He's been super busy lately at the office and we barely have had time alone together. It doesn't bother me but I do get a bit lonely when the kids are asleep and I'm over here waiting for him to come back. I can always call my girls to keep me company but they also have their own lives and do their own thing.

I replied back and set my phone down on the coffee table and continued watching.

I heard Noah come in through the front door and I furrowed my brows in confusion as he sat down beside me.

"You're back early?" I said, taking a sip of my lemonade. He was supposed to be hanging out with Lottie.

He sighed. "It's Lottie."

I sighed. "What did you do this time?"

"What do you mean this time? I didn't do anything."

"Then what's wrong?"

Noah ran his hand through his tousled hair. "You know how she's been so distant lately? I think it's because her ex is back in town...they go way back."

"Oh no," I frowned. "Has she been seeing him again?"

"I asked her that and she didn't want to admit to it. But I think she misses him."

"Noah..."

"So, I told her that its best if we stop whatever we had going."

"You broke up with her?!"

"We weren't really together, Ev. It was more like let's see where this can take us kinda thing. We've only known each other for a couple months. I really liked her but I think she chose him over me."

I wrapped my arm around his shoulder and he leaned in. "Aw, I'm sorry."

"It's fine, really. It's not the end of the world," he chuckled, softly, but I wasn't convinced. "Anyways, I'm not trying to mope around. I'm gonna make a drink."

"Oooh, that sounds good," I hummed, checking my phone and replying back to Waliyha, telling her to come in when she gets here. She was bored and wanted to come over. I followed Noah into the kitchen and watched as Noah made his way to the mini bar.

Noah took a shot of apple crown royal and I shook my head at him. "It's literally 12 in the afternoon, you sure you wanna take shots already?"

"I'll take a shot during any hour."

Waliyha walked into the kitchen and greeted me with a hug and laughed at Noah.

"Shots at noon? Are you having girl problems?" she asked him and all he did was nod. "Damn, did Lottie do something?"

After Noah explained, Waliyha ended up joining him for a shot. I like how close they've gotten since he's been here and I honestly see them as best friends.
