The next morning luke never came to get me, which I wouldn't be mad if he didn't promise last night that he would. So once I got to school I immediately ignored him and when straight to my friend Anna.
"What's good, my bitch," she greeted me smiling and I chuckled shaking my head.
"Cut it with those obnoxious terms in public. At least act civilized," I said and she rolled her eyes.
"Whatever, anyways guess who I heard talking about you," she smirked and I tuned in full attention curious of who.
"Who?" I asked.
"Michael Clifford," she smirked.
I stopped in my tracks and turned to her. She's shitting me. I use to have a huge crush on him for almost three years.
"Wait Michael Clifford as in the football player?" I questioned and she nodded, her natural curls staying in place.
"The one and only," she says and I just shrugged not really interested anymore.
"Well that's cool I guess," I said and started walking down the hall again and she caught up with me.
"Wait, what do you mean? I thought you liked him?" She asked making me laugh.
"Three years ago, Anna," I said and she shrugged.
"What's the difference?"
I sighed as we took our seats in first mod, "well there obviously has to be somebody else if you're not even the slightest bit happy about Michael. So who is it Jenner. Spill the beans," she said being over dramatic making me roll my eyes.
"No one, Anna not stop trying to play Sherlock Holmes," I said and she shook her head smirking.
"It's that Ashton boy, isn't it," she said and I glanced up at her curious.
"Why do you say that?""You posted three videos if you guys on your snap and a picture of him," she smirked as I rolled my eyes.
"Really Anna? Can't come up with better reasoning than that? Ashton and I are just friends. Besides, he's too good for me," I said and she glared.
"First off, no one is too good for my best friend. And if not him then that just leaves my last choice," she said leaving me questioning her as to who she thinks it is.
"Luke."
I nearly groaned at the name.
"No way. Him as I are just strictly friends."
She groaned, stomping her foot, "Come on Cleo. You haven't gotten any in two years," she said and I slapped my hand over her mouth, not wanting her to embarrass me.
"Shut it, you're speaking too loud," I said as she rolled her eyes.
"I'm just saying," she shrugged.
I sighed pulling my notebook out and taking a glance at Anna. She was so pretty. Dark chocolate skin, but she had hazel eyes, which was different from most dark people. Usually light skin people would have lighter eyes but she did. And she had a killer body. Boys loved her but she has a lot her self respect. Plus she's had the same boyfriend since ninth grade and they stay loyal. I wish I had that.
Soon the day went by and I was home and laying down. There wasn't much to do and my phone was completely dry. Not even luke was texting me back at this point.
So I turned on my radio and began to listen to a few of my favorite bands before falling asleep.
After waking up and taking a shower I skipped out on dinner, not feeling too well. I was playing on my phone until I got an Instagram request. It was from Michael and I got excited. I immediately followed back and text Anna telling her.
Once he DMed me she got those screenshots too. He asked for my number so I gave it to him and waited for him to text me.
