"What? What happened? What's going on," I asked franticly.

"She's going into labor!"

"What?!"

"No, she can't be she's only 6 months!" Luke said.

"She is! She said there's something really wrong," she said as I ran down the stairs and out the front door. I tried to run down the block, but luke pulled me back.

"Let me go!"

"Stop!" He yelled at me, "i'll drive you, it will be faster. Come on," he said tugging me to his car as we both hurried in and he began speeding to the hospital as I just noticed that I had been crying. I called my dad in fear not knowing what to do.

"Cleo," he said as both luke and I rushed in the hospital and was sent to the waiting room.
"Cleo I can't get there," he said sounding just as scared as I was.

"What? What do you mean?" I asked terrified that he wasn't going to be here.

"Cleo i'm snowed in at work, I can't get out," he said trying to stay calm, "Honey, I need you to listen to me," he said trying to calm me, "I need you to be there for Lilian, okay? I need you to go with her and be there for her and me, okay?"

I was crying not helping it anymore. What if the same thing happens with Lilian that happened to my mom? Lilian is in a worst case. She's only six months pregnant.
"Dad, I don't know what if-"

"No," he said sternly, "She's going to be okay. Now you go in there and you be ther for her, do it for me and your mother. Okay?" He said as I sighed and nodding wiping my tears.

"Okay."

I looked at luke who was worried an I didn't realize he's been hold my hand. I pulled my hand away and told him that he could leave.

"No," he said.

"Just go Luke-"

"I said no, i'm not leaving. I'm staying here and i'm not gonna leave you again. I'm done with that. You need me and I'm gonna be right here," he said stern not taking no for an answer. I nodded my head looking at him feeling slightly less scared.

"Let's go," he said grabbing my hand again and going to find Lilian's room. Once we found the room she was in, we rushed in immediately I rushed by her side. She was clearly crying and doctors were around her.

I grabbed her hand as she sighed when seeing me. "Lilian, oh my god."

She shook her head taking a deep breathe, which she was short on.

"Somethings wrong," she said and I could she how frightened she was, "Somethings really wrong Cleo," she said and then let out a scream as I looked at the doctors.

"Can't you do something to help her pain?!" I yelled at them.

"We can't do anything, we're trying our best. She won't stop bleeding," the doctor replied.

"Bleeding? Why is she bleeding? What's wrong with her?"I said glancing down at her seeing her glisten in sweat and pain.

"Well we're afraid that if she doesn't deliver this baby now, she'll miscarriage," the doctor said making my heart stop in an instance. Miscarriage?

I looked down at Lilian, continuing to hold her hand tight, "Okay Lilian you're gonna have to give birth. Now, okay?" I said.

"Now?" She panted, "Where's your dad? Is he on his way?"

"No he's snowed in at work. He can't make it, so it's just gonna be us," I said as she shook her head breathing heavily.

"No, I can't. I can't do this. I can't do this now," she said as I nodded glancing up to see luke pulling on a blue doctors outfit, realizing he was helping deliver the baby.

"Yes you can," I said holding her hand tighter as she began screaming again.

"Come on, Lilian," the doctor said, "you can do this."

After trying to push the first round she fell back, lost of breath and shook her head crying more.

"I can't. I just can't," she cried and I couldn't do it anymore. I lost one person from a situation like this, i'm not losing another.

"Yes you can, if you don't do this now then you'll lose the baby, do you understand? You have to do this now," I said trying to be brave enough for the bother of us, "You can do this, mom."

She looked up at me, giving me a sad, painful smile and nodded.
"Okay," she breathed out as she tightened her grip on my head.

"Okay push!" I yelled at her as she began pushing and I heard the doctor saying he could see the top of the head, "Again, Lilian, again," I said as she tried again, screaming loudly on the last push before the baby was born and the babies crying filled the room.

I smiled and cried of relief, glancing down at Lilian who had the same reaction as me. Her expression slowly faded as she shut her eyes and laid back.

"Lilian?" I asked as she shook her head and I wasn't sure what was going on.

I yelled at the doctor and he and other immediately retreated back to her, frantically seeing what the problem was.

"She's losing too much blood!" One yelled as they began reciprocating to her trying to help her.
