A year has passed after the best thing ever happened to me. A year has passed since those crazy things happened to me. A year has passed and I'm still with the woman that love me the way I am. She always wakes up first, so I'm used to waking up without her next to me. I don't mind that at all, she has her own rituals so I don't interrupt those rituals. But today is different. I wake up with a letter on her side of the bed. On the flap, it's says happy anniversary babe! It makes me smile, everything she does makes me so happy. She never fails to make me smile. Inside there's a long message she wrote to me.

It's been a year since we decided to start a fake relationship that lead to us, sharing our feelings for each other. I still couldn't believe that you liked me! I mean, the Blake Shelton likes me! Okay. Thank you for always making me smile, making me feel good and giving me my freedom. It has been a good year. Thank you for accepting and loving the kids like they're your own. The kids really like you. I never thought that I could like a cowboy. I mean, an OC girl and a cowboy! Wow! Thank you for everything you've done for me and the kids. I could never ever repay those acts of kindness that you show to me. I'll love you for who you are. Always remember that you are perfect to me :) I love you!

After reading her letter, I fix myself then I headed down to cook her ready-to-cook waffles. I pour it down to the waffle cooker and I prepared coffee. After eating, I was thinking of ways I can surprise her that wasn't cheesy. I decided to call Adam for help and he said that we could just cuddle up since it's cold now. That was kinda a good idea and also I knew that she needs rest after non-stop promotion for her upcoming tour. It's gonna get hard for us because of her going on tour but it's only a test for our relationship. I know we can handle this.

After a while, they arrived. She brought sushi. I liked eating sushi because of her. The boys hug me and say thank you for God knows what. Then they head to the dining room that I prepared for us. I kiss her on the cheeks and she blushes. " Happy anniversary babe! " I whisper then she smiles and tiptoed to give me a kiss. " We're hungry! " Kingston said, " We're coming! " Gwen replied. We all sat and pray for our meals. " Thank you Blake! " Zuma says, " Why? " I ask before putting a sushi on my mouth. " Because of you, were on the honor roll! " Kington added, " Really! " I say. " If it wasn't for you I wouldn't understand fractions! " Kingston answered with a grin. I smile at them and Gwen pats my hand.

I head up to the room and try to take a nap but Gwen comes in. " Your taking a nap without me? " she stands at the door, " Come here! I know you want a cuddle. " I say. She comes to my side and she snuggles up in my arms. She's so cute when she snuggles up in my arms. She wanted to watch a movie so we watched The Sound Of Music, her favorite. She accidentally sleeps in the middle of the movie. I just placed a kiss on her forehead and fixed her blanket. I joined her in her napping after I took a short shower.

I woke up first. She wakes up 5 minutes later than me. " I still haven't given you your anniversary gift. " she says, " Here. " she gives a small envelope which had a paper saying coupon. I see the coupon saying " Unlimited access to all my things esp my phone and my cabinets! " I smile then I catch her smiling. " You like it? " she says, " Of course! Also I'm giving you 200% access to my things. All of my things. " I reply then I hug her. " Its my time now. " I say, although I didn't buy anything but I know what can make her smile. I lean to her and give her a kiss. She said that when I kiss her, it's always magical and it takes all of her stress away. She kisses me back, " Thank you for the wonderful gift, cowboy. " she kisses me for the last time. She smiles and blushes while she headed to prepare dinner.

Although we didn't have any dates or expensive gifts, as long as we're together we're happy. At night she cuddles up in my arms again and it has been the best day of my life.
