Chapter 1

It wasn't long before George woke up after his uncle tried to kill him as his father took George back to Jonathan's house and into his room. George's parents then went out to collect a baby girl when they received a phone call. A girl who was slightly older than George helped him and the others waited for him to wake up.

"Urrr..." "George?" his uncle asked. He opened his eyes and looked to his uncle as he saw that he looked normal. He sensed that there was a baby in the house when he woke up. He heard the door open as he heard crying. He looked to the door and notices his parents as he saw a baby in his father's arms. He sat up as his father said, "George, this is your little sister. Say hello to Bethany." He handed her over to him as he held her in his arms. "She's so beautiful." He looked to the mysterious girl as he asked, "what's your name?" "Rosie. I saw you collapse to the ground and I wanted to make sure you were going to be on the mend."

Claire who was still in her pyjamas and dressing gown sat on the bed with George. She looked to Bethany as she said, "she looks beautiful." "She does." Rosie looked at George with a smile on her face as she said, "she has your eyes George." He looked at her as he thanked her. "Thanks for the comment." Bethany had stopped crying as Claire asked, "can I hold her George?" "Yes. Be gentle." George carefully handed Bethany over to Claire as her brother stood next to her. She smiled at Bethany when she was in her arms. Within seconds, Claire made Bethany laugh and George laughed quietly because she was making noises to make his sister laugh.

"It's like you're experienced with babies," George whispered. "I'm not. I just think that babies are adorable." Rosie looked to George and held his left hand. "I wonder if she'll grow to be like you." "I'd doubt it. I'm not human." "Neither am I George. Apart from your mum and sister, all of you are werewolves." "I'd better go back to college. I'm sure everyone's wondering where I've been." "Don't go George," his mother told him. "Why?" "Only Alex knew everything, and his mum. I know you're over it now. But, I don't think that going back will help." "You're right. One minute I disappear and show up the next out of nowhere. I don't want anyone to gather around me and ask what was wrong and why I left for a while."

George's mother took Bethany from Claire as she said, "I'll try and get her to sleep. See you all later." She kissed George's father on the lips and then left to try and get her new daughter to nap for a while. George sat up as Claire helped him out of bed. "Are you okay?" "Yes thanks." They all went to the living room as Rosie talked to George.

"Thanks for helping me Rosie. I really appreciate what you did to help my dad as well." "It's not a problem." She saw him smile at her as she smiled back. Mike looked to George and sensed that he was grateful for Rosie by helping him when he collapsed. "I'd like to thank you for helping him. I'm the one that's supposed to help him. I'm his protector, Mike." He held out his arm and greeted her. "Nice to meet you."

Claire carefully studied Rosie and thought she was up to something by the way she was talking with George. She noticed that she said something to him as he laughed. She then heard her cousin say, "I like the fact that you helped me. But I'd appreciate it you went home to be with your dad." "All right then." Claire then noticed that she then placed her hand on top of her cousin's hand. "I like you George. Maybe we could hang out." "Sure. Is tomorrow okay?" She nodded as she told him she'd see him then as she then left the house.

Claire sat on the bed again as she held her cousin's hand as Christian walked into the room. "Hi sister." "Hi big brother. How's Auntie Jane doing with Bethany?" "Really well. She's almost asleep."

When five minutes passed George saw his mother enter the room with Bethany in her arms. "She's asleep now. Are you alright?" He nodded as he asked, "can I please hold her again?" She said that he could and to be gentle with her as he told her he would. When she handed her daughter over to him as he held her. He kissed her forehead as she moved her arms with a quiet noise. He then giggled quietly. "I love her. She's so adorable." She nodded in agreement.
