Chapter 3

As Rosie watched George train, Mike told him what to do as he obeyed. Rosie was stunned to see George training. Within half an hour, Mike told him to train in wolf form. So he shifted to his wolf and taught him new attack moves since he was becoming stronger.

After four hours of training, Mike told him he could have a little break. So he ran back to the house, returned to human form, got dressed and drank plenty of water. "George?" It was his mother's voice. "In here mum." She walked into the room and saw him drinking some water. "How's training going?" "Just fine. Mike said I could take a little break." "Good. Do you want to see Bethany while you're on your break?" "Sure." She called for his father as he suddenly walked downstairs and into the living room with Bethany in his arms.

"Here she is. How's training going?" He took his sister into his arms as he replied, "great. Mike's just teaching me new moves." "That's great. You're starting to learn different techniques that will help to defend yourself." "I know. How advanced does it get?" "Very. I'd say you're intermediate." "Cool. I think I'd better take a shower to freshen up." "Alright then." He took Bethany from his son as he went upstairs for a shower.

After five minutes, he got out of the shower, dried himself and got dressed. He then walked downstairs to see his parents standing outside. "Why are you outside?" "We thought Bethany would need a little fresh air." He nodded as he told them he was going back to where Mike was for more training. They wished him luck as he went back to where he trained.

When he got there, he saw Rosie talking to Jonathan while Mike talked to James. "He's fine James. We've got it covered." "Hi guys." "Hi," James greeted. They were smiling when they saw George.

When he looked to Mike, he saw him talking to Jonathan as he then saw Rosie leave. He walked over to them as Jonathan caught Mike as he suddenly fell. "Mike." "I've got him. He's collapsed from exhaustion. I told him to stop. I've decided you can train whenever you're ready for the rest of the day. Let's go back to the house." He nodded as they walked back to the house.

Back at the house, George saw his father sat on the bench in the back garden. "Hi dad." "Hi. How was training with Mike?" "Jonathan told me to do it when I'm ready. Mike collapsed." "Is he okay?" "He's fine. Jonathan's taken him to bed." He sat next to his father as they talked.

It was dark when they went inside to see Mike laying on the sofa. "Mike?" George's father gently asked. He didn't reply as he was asleep. His father walked into the room and quietly told them, "he woke up a little while ago and decided to watch something on the television. He fell asleep half an hour after he switched it on." "Did your wife tell you and Jonathan to leave him to sleep on the sofa?" he nodded as he placed a blanket over his sleeping son. "There we go Mike. Get some rest."

He suddenly bolted up while he breathed rapidly. "It's okay. Just breathe." "Dad." "Relax." He helped him to lay down as he began to calm down. "What's happening to me?" "You might be coming down with something. Anyway, just relax. Your mum will be here in a minute." He nodded as his mother walked into the room with a glass of water. "Here you go Mike." He reached his arm out and took the water as he thanked her and began to drink the water.

"Thanks mum." When he finished the water, he placed the glass on the table. "I feel a little better." His mother helped him sit up as she then helped him up and took him upstairs to bed. "Come on. Let's get you to bed to recover."

Once Mike was in bed, he closed his eyes and quickly fell asleep. His mother left his room so he could rest as she walked back to the living room. "He's asleep. He just closed his eyes and he was away." She suddenly sensed him as he twitched. "He's twitching. I'll just check on him."
