Chapter 4

George woke up after having a bad dream two hours later and Claire was by his side in an instant. "Hey. Try and relax. You only had a bad dream." She sat next to him on the bed and held his hand. "Thanks for checking on me Claire." "No problem. Just take deep breaths." He obeyed as she stayed with him until he calmed down.

Once he calmed down, he fell into a deep sleep. "There we go cousin. Try and have a good night's sleep." He buried his face into the pillow, got comfortable and was dreaming away. She pulled the cover over him and left him to sleep as she went back to her room and went back to sleep.

When morning arrived, George was fast asleep in bed. His mother checked on him as his father then entered the room. George had turned on his side to face them as his father walked over to him. "It's time to get up son." Jonathan walked into the room and suddenly sensed how George was feeling. He saw that George was trapped in a silver cage as he was in his wolf form. George looked to him and talked to him though mind link. 'Jonathan. Help. I can't wake up.' Jonathan then snapped out of it as he then fell back and fell to the floor. "Jonathan." George's mother sat next to him and Mike was by him in an instant.

"Jonathan?" "I think he saw something." "What did you see?" He looked terrified as he showed Mike George's dream. "Silver. Wake him up. Now!" His father tried to wake him up but he couldn't. "I can't." He helped his older brother up and sat him on the chair at the desk and tried to wake his friend up. "Come on. Come back to us." He suddenly opened his eyes. "Hi." "Hey. You were having a bad dream. But the good thing is that you didn't move or shout."

Claire wanted to help her cousin train and he agreed. "Don't worry Claire. I'll go easy on you." "I know you will. Just because I'm a girl and your cousin." He nodded as they decided to train in the basement. "Come on George." He shifted to his wolf form as he then ran towards his cousin as she then stopped him from attacking. ' Come on Claire. Not fair.' "I may be a girl, but I am strong." 'I'll get you Claire. I will... one day.' "Sure you will. Come on Hunter. Try again." He remained still as she asked what was wrong. "Come on. Tell me what's wrong." He yelped as she rushed over to him.

She gently held him as she tried to soothe him. "Hush cousin. Try and relax." ' Someone's hurting him. But I don't know who it is.' "Do you want me to get your dad?" He shook his head. She continued to comfort him until he calmed down.

He had fallen asleep after five minutes as he rested his head on his cousin's lap as she stroked the fur on his head. He eventually shifted back to human form as she let her uncle know that her cousin was fast asleep. As she waited, she stroked his hair back as he suddenly breathed a little heavier. "Shhhh. Just relax. You're safe." "Claire?" She looked to the stairs and saw her uncle holding a blanket. "How did the training go?" "It went well. I was strong for him this time, but Hunter said that someone was hurting him. I comforted him and he went calm and fell asleep. So I thought I'd let you know when he was asleep and we can get him to bed." He nodded as he wrapped the cover around his son, took him to his room, dressed him and gently put him in bed as he then pulled the cover over him and left him to relax.

George woke up a couple of hours later as he knew that he had slept enough. He woke up to find himself in bed. He sat up as he then got out of bed and walked downstairs as he rubbed his eyes. "Hi guys." He stumbled as Mike quickly rushed over to him and caught him. "Woah there. Are you ok?" "Yeah." He collapsed again as Mike caught him again. "That does it. Let's get you to the sofa." "I'll be fine Mike." "Do as you're told." He carried him in case he stumbled again.

"There we go. Try and relax. We won't train you today." "Can I please have some water?" "sure you can." He left the room, got a glass of water and returned to George. "Thanks Mike." He drank the water and when he finished, he placed the glass on the table and got comfortable. Mike then watched him until he was asleep and once he was asleep, he decided to watch him for a little while and took him upstairs to bed.
