George turned around to face her as he asked, "what's down?" "You're not funny George."

They all decided to go back to the house and George suddenly didn't feel like himself. It was like something wasn't right. Mike sensed it and waited until they were back at the house and went to the basement to talk alone.

"What's wrong Mike?" "You're not yourself." "I'm fine." His wolf knew that something was wrong, but he thought it would be for the best if he didn't say anything to make George mad.

"Let me help you. Whatever is making you different, we can help." "I said I'm fine," he snapped. "I'm only trying to help." As George wasn't himself, he and Mike argued and it ended up in a fight. George punched Mike hard so he fell to the floor. Mike eventually punched his friend hard and managed to knock him out. "I'm so sorry. Something is wrong with you pal. I still need to protect you." He suddenly passed out as his parents walked into the room. "Oh darling." His mother said worryingly. "Let's get you to bed." She saw her husband pick their son up while George's father entered the room, pick his son up and both father's took their sons to bed.

George came round an hour later. He walked downstairs and into the living room and asked what happened. He suddenly saw Claire holding Jonathan. "What's wrong?" "Mike's in bed." "Why?" "He passed out after the both of you fought. You've been out for an hour and Mike's still out." He turned around to go back upstairs as he then walked up them and knocked on the door. "Come in." He heard a quiet woman's voice. When he opened the door, he saw Mike in bed as his parents were sat next to him.

"George. He's still unconscious." "I just wanted to see how he was. I'm sorry about what happened. I really am." He looked to Mike as his father looked to him and said, "we're just keeping an eye on him. We can't read his mind so he must be out cold. If you don't mind... we'd like to take care of him... alone." Mike's breathing was shallow as his mother suddenly held his hand and felt how cold he was.

"He's freezing. Mike, can you hear me? Please, if you can, squeeze my hand." He did. "Are you waking up soon? One for no, two for yes." He squeezed her hand twice. "Alright. One for any time now or two for you'll take a while." He squeezed her hand once as he suddenly yet slowly opened his eyes. "Hey." He tried to sit up. "No son. You just relax." His wolf woke up immediately. He was angry with George for hurting him. "How's your jaw sweetheart?" "A little sore. I'll be fine after a good nights sleep." George walked over to the bed. "I'm really sorry that happened." "I'm sorry I kicked you over and knocked you out. But you really weren't yourself. You never have been since you met Rosie." "I know. I'm sorry. Friends?" He held out his hand as Mike held his hand out as they shook hands and made up. "Friends."

While Mike was resting, George was still in the room. "Why don't you go downstairs? Jonathan's being looked after by my cousin and I'm sure he wants you both to be with him right now. "Ok. We're glad you made up. Don't think that we're not worried about you. We are. We always are. Just keep an eye on him. We'll get him something to keep him warm. He's still cold." He nodded as he watched them leave the room. They returned after two minutes and saw that Mike was laid on the left side of his body so he was facing them. "He must be exhausted," his father decided. He walked over to the bed as he placed the cover over his son's shoulder. "We'll see you when you wake up."

When they walked downstairs, they saw that Jonathan was sat up on the sofa while Claire cradled his head. "Don't worry about him. He's strong. His wolf will help. That's what my mum told me when George saved my Uncle Jack and made my dad normal." "Thanks for being so supportive. I don't know what I'd do without you. I love you so much." She told him she loved him as they finally released each other.

Claire sat down when there was a sudden knock on the door. Jonathan answered it. "Hi Janet." "Where's Claire?" "She's on the sofa, why?" "I had a terrible dream or vision or something. I have to see her." She barged past him as she rushed into the living room to see her daughter sat on the sofa. "I'm fine. Nothing happened to me." "I had to make sure." "You could have called to save yourself a journey." "Well I'm here now. Charlie's in the car. He said he lost something in it so he's looking for what he lost."
