Chapter 5

After George woke up shortly after the dream about what his wolf had told him about Rosie lying to him, he laid back down and tried to calm down.

When he was calm, he got out of bed, went downstairs to the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge. He then drank some of the water as he then decided to go outside to the back of the house for a few minutes.

He fell asleep on the bench as his mother suddenly saw him. "Hey." He suddenly woke up. "Huh?" "What are you doing out here?" "I had a bad dream and I thought I'd come outside for a few minutes to clear my head." He then stood up as the both of them went back inside and went back to bed.

Mike and Jonathan got up at the same time and decided to train early. They had some cereal and went to the basement for some training. Jonathan grabbed a punching bag from the cupboard and put it in place as he gave his little brother some boxing gloves. "We'll be taking it in turns." Mike nodded as he began to punch the punching bag repeatedly as Jonathan held it.

Just as Mike threw a hard punch with his right hand, Jonathan felt it. "Ow. Go easy with it. Not too easy though. We need lots of training." As Mike continued to punch the punching bag, Claire walked down the stairs. "Good morning guys." "Hi Claire. Mike and I are training right now." "Do you want me to come back later?" "No. You're welcome to stay and train with us if you'd like." She thanked him as she decided to train as well.

After a couple of hours, it was Jonathan's turn to use the punching bag. "I'm getting my own back after you hit the punching bag hard which hurt me a little." "Fine." Jonathan put the boxing gloves on as he then began punching. Claire carefully watched to make sure neither of them would get injured.

There was a knock on the door five minutes later. George answered the door to see Rosie there. "Hi Rosie. What are you doing here?" "I thought I'd see how you were doing." "Fine thanks." "A doctor was heading in this direction and so was I. So I decided to see what he wanted and he said that he was going to give Claire some tablets that she has to take for her epilepsy?" "Yes. No one knows how she got it, but if these will keep it under control, the better she might feel."

He made his way to the basement as he saw Claire watching Mike and Jonathan train. "Claire. Please come here." She stood up and there was another knock on the door. George answered it to see the doctor there. "I almost forgot. Please give these to Claire. Please make sure she wears it and carries it around with her wherever she goes." He nodded as he took the two items from the doctor, thanked him and the doctor then left.

The two items were a card and a bracelet. He walked back to the basement as he gave his cousin the card and bracelet. She thanked him as she put the bracelet on straight away.

They all went back upstairs as they decided to take a little break from training. George decided to go for a run as his wolf and decided that Claire should have got on top of him. She agreed as they went towards the woods.

When they were deep in the woods, George found a scent. He smelled it and mind linked his cousin on his back saying whose scent it was. "Christian come out. You don't have to follow us. We're perfectly safe." A man walked from behind a tree. "I'm not Christian. Whoever that is." "Err... George?" he immediately turned around as the man grabbed her arm and dragged her off of her cousin's back. George then growled at the stranger as Claire rubbed her head with her hand. 'Are you okay?' "I'm fine George. Go."

He shook his head as he charged towards the man holding his cousin. He knocked the stranger down as Claire climbed on top of her cousin again. "Go!" He ran as fast as he could away from the woods and ran back to Jonathan's.
