George went to the bathroom and locked himself in. 'Try and calm down pal. You're safe now that she's in the cage.' He nodded to himself as he wept. "It's over." There was a sudden knock on the door. "George, open up." It was Mike. "Why? So my dad can have a go at me just because I've just saved our lives from her. She's killed people and she's not locked up. I'm going to the police station and I'm making a statement." "Don't. She's in the cage and we can talk to her ourselves." "Be careful then." "Come on." "No." "Please come out of the bathroom."

After a few minutes, George exited the bathroom and went downstairs to find that Rosie was still unconscious and Jonathan was in the cage helping her with her head wound.

When he finished, he exited the cage and suddenly felt an arm wrap around his neck. "Come any closer and he's next." "Jonathan," Mike said as he stopped in his tracks. "Let him go. He helped you." "Over my dead body," Jonathan then said, "that can be arranged." She then wrapped her arm tighter around his neck as he began gasping for air.

His family worried for his safety. "I helped you," he wheezed. "Shut up." Mike tried to distract her and nodded at George once Rosie was watching Claire. "Hey Rosie." "What?" George then began sneaking up to the cage to try and free his friend and protector from Rosie's clutch. 'George. We're losing him.' He told his wolf that he would be free in a few seconds. But just before he got to his friend and protector, Jonathan had lost consciousness. 'He's alive for now. Go to him and don't listen to what she says.' He then strode towards Jonathan and sat next to him as Mike held him in his arms.

"I've got you Jonathan. You're safe. Dad, get him out of here. Take him upstairs and stay with him." He nodded as he took Jonathan into his arms and carried him upstairs. "Why do you harm our families?" "Oh Grace. You'll never understand." "You don't hurt either of my two boys. Do you understand?" "Perfectly." Mike suddenly felt faint. "I need to go upstairs," he told everyone as he then made his way to the stairs.

"Mike?" everyone asked worryingly. He then told everyone that he was going to get a drink of water and his mother went with him to make sure that he got upstairs safely.

"Why us?" George asked her. "There was something about you guys. I was interested to get to know you. Especially George. I helped him when he collapsed. I deserve a reward." "I still appreciate what you did to help my son, but you're trouble. You've done nothing but torment our family and friends. Plus, we know that's the reason that Mike has gone upstairs feeling ill," his told his family. George then tried to get her under his control and he managed to carry it out correctly.

"How is Mike feeling?" "Faint." "What powers do you hold." "I can hypnotize people. That's my gift." "How long have you been able to do that?" "For as long as I can remember. It happened a few years after my mum died." "How did she die?" "An accident." "When will you leave us alone?" "Until you're mine. You're needed for something. But I'm scared." He felt sorry for her. "What are you scared of?" "Being what I am... I'm scared of hurting, even killing anyone." "You have. You dated a man named Mark. You dated a couple of men before him and they're dead. Then you dated Mark and he's still alive. Then a few more men after Mark and they're dead." "I never wanted this to happen." "What am I needed for?"

His father told him that he shouldn't have asked that question, but Rosie told him, "you have a certain power within you. If I take it from you, it will make me stronger." He decided to ask about Cole. "What about your brother Cole? He's not your little brother, is he?" She shook her head. "No. He's my big brother. Our dad knows about it. He's just going along with the plan because my power tells him to." "I'm going to-" a mobile phone ringing caused him to break away from his sentence. "It's my dad," she told everyone when she took her mobile phone out from her pocket.
