Once everyone trained for many hours until it was dark, they all went home to eat and rest.
"I hope Claire's feeling better. I'm sure that Jonathan is taking really good care of her." "He is," his father told him. "We called him earlier and he's really looking after her." "Good. As long as she's safe, that's all that matters to us." "Good, because her mum is on her way. She'll be here in the morning." "You told her about the stabbing?" "Of course I did. She had to know."
Ten minutes passed and the conversation ended as George went to bed while the warriors were in their position ready to protect him while he slept as well as his sister.
"No. Stay away from me." "George?" Tristan gently asked. "Get away from me." Tristan then stood up and walked towards the bed and tried to calm George down. "No." "Everyone is safe." "Tristan?" "I'm here." "Please save me." "You're safe. I've got you." "Thank you." He then remained silent throughout the night.
George opened his eyes to the dull, grey sky at eight o'clock in the morning. "Good morning George," Tristan greeted. "Hi." "You had a bad dream last night. And don't apologise." "Did I talk?" "You did, but you didn't talk much." "What did I say?" Tristan then told him his exact words and when they finished talking, they went downstairs for breakfast.
"Good morning son." "Hi dad. Did you sleep well?" "I did thank you. Tristan told me that you talked in your sleep." "Yeah." "Not to worry. Your breakfast is on the table." He walked towards the table, sat on a chair and began eating.
"Has auntie Janet arrived yet?" "Yes. She's with your uncle and cousins. She was there a couple of hours ago." "Good. I'm sure they're happy to see her again." "They are."
Once his breakfast was finished, George went upstairs and got into some fresh clothes to exercise in.
"Don't push yourself too hard." "I won't. I'll just go for a jog and maybe use the punching bag. I need to toughen up." "Just take it easy and take-" "I know. Take a warrior or two with me for my own protection." "Yeah. Just be careful. You never know what will happen." "I know." Tristan then appeared with Zander. "We're going with you." "Let's go."
They ran for two hours around town and they were taking a steady walk back to George's house so he could prepare to use his punching bag. "You did well George. You were faster than the both of us. Have you been training in secret?" "No." "Sure you haven't." "I haven't though." "Fine. Let's get back to your house."
Once everyone was at George's house, they prepared the punching bag and George had begun punching and kicking as his father watched. "Keep going son. You're doing really well son. Keep up the good work."
"Alright, I think three hours is enough for today with the punching bag. You showed it who the boss was." "What next?" "Do you really want to continue working out? You're going to make yourself worse. The thing is to build up to working out longer. Not to do it in one go. You're still growing with your strength and agility." "I know what I'm doing. I have to be ready for the battle that is to come." "Just don't strain yourself. Do you know when the battle will be?" "I'll try and find out." With that, he closed his eyes as he began to see a vision.
"You're nothing without me." "It's over for you Rosie." She was then attacked by George's father and George suddenly collapsed to the floor. "I've got you son. I'm going to take you home. It's over now. We'll get you back to your old self soon. Just rest now." Then after many hours of resting, George had woken up to find his family and friends by his side in his room. "Where is she?" "Don't worry. She's dead." He sighed with relief. But suddenly, the vision broke off. It was repeating itself, but that time, Rosie had full control of him and slipped some poison into his mouth, where he then died.
