Peggy's POV
***
"Hello miss Carter." I looked up to see Jarvis smiling at me.
"I'm sorry for your loss," the smile left his face.
"Peggy, when should we hold the funeral? I got a call from Howard."
"I-I don't know," I looked down. I just wanted to drown in the pain that I felt.
"Ok, we'll schedule it for next Saturday if that's alright with you."
"Yes, it's fine." I desperately wanted to be left alone.
"Okay, just call me if you need anything. I'm happy to help you at a moments notice." Jarvis left and I decided to go on a walk through the park. I walked along the cement path trying to clear my mind of any thoughts of Steve, but I just couldn't, everything reminded me of him. I froze as I started to cry again.
"Mam? Are you alright?" I heard a man behind me say.
"Yes, I'm fine," I whispered as I tried wiping the tears off of my face. I started speed walking away and went back to my apartment.
