CHAPTER 14

Snowflakes wow... Gosh they were pretty I thought to myself as I rode in the car in my snow pants, coat, boots and gloves. We were on our way to meet up with the group for some good old fashioned sledding.

I grinned widely as I thought of the day to come, we would go out sledding for a few hours then we
would go to the Flying M for some hot chocolate, it was the best there was and it was also tradition every Christmas Eve for the gang to get together and go sledding.

The weeks had traveled by fast as the leaves fell to the ground and snow and frost had whitened the lands...

I smiled dreamily for a moment as the car drove on and I looked out my window at the scenery, my smile widened as one of my favorite songs began to blare into my neon green headphones, Kelly Clackson, Heartbeat Song.

♪You where the hell did you come from, you're a different, different kind of fun and I'm so used to feeling numb♪

I turned up the volume and mouthed the words as I do for every good song I know and love the lyrics to.

♪Until tonight I only dreamed about you, I can't believe I ever breathed without you, baby you make me feel alive and brand new, bring it one more time, one more time♪

I let the music fill me and my eyes sparkled, for some reason that line made me think of Leo...

We had seen each other three times since, but he had not tried to kiss me again. I could feel something though between us though, every time I looked at him I just... Melted.

I was brought back into reality as we pulled into the parking lot, I took off my headphones and jumped out of the car grabbing my sled as I then ran up to everybody.

"Hi guys!" I said beaming at them all.

"Hey, hey, hey!" Giggled Hailey.

"Hey Ravan!" Said Katy.

"Hi." Said Alice.

"Hiya!" Said Tommy.

I giggled. "Hiya! We ready to go sledding?" I asked them all.

"Yeah we're just waiting for Leo." Said Cody.

I sniggered. "Nice." I said.

"Hey guys I got my sled's handle fixed!" Said Leo as he ran up. "Oh umm hey Raven." He said.

(Ok I know its cold outside but I swear I saw him blush)

"Hi Leo." I said grinning with a slight pinkness in my cheeks.

I saw Hailey and Jackson exchange a look like how me and Leo always did for them when they were being all gushy around each other... Ohh hey wait a second? I thought. I stuck my tongue out at Hailey and she smirked at me.

I huffed. "Eherm so let's get a move on shall we?" I said and we all then started walking up the hill.

Hailey is still smirking at me. I sigh giving it up. Ok so what if I was a little bit obvious? It's not like Leo was any better. I thought to myself. I sniggered and sprinted ahead.

"Race ya!" I said to Leo.

He raised an eyebrow and started running and I took off after him. He beat me to the top, but not by much.

"Haha I win!" He said grinning.

I sighed all over dramatically. "Yeah yeah." I said. "But I can fix that!" I said giggling as I gave him a small push to the edge of the hill.

"Oh no! You wouldn't!" He said pretending to cower behind his sled.

I laughed. "I so would, just you watch me!" I said giggling.
