My One and Only

Chapter 11

CHAPTER 11

Ugg... I thought as I worked on my math homework, school was back alright what had happened to summer? Just like poof! And it was gone, Halloween was just around the corner. I grinned time to head out into the corn maze with the group tonight and pick out our pumpkins and eat piping hot baby doughnuts.

I finished my math homework and had dinner with my family then changed into jeans a long sleeved black and blue shirt with my favorite white jacket overtop, we then headed off to meet up with the others.

I grinned as the cool air swept across my face as I exited the car and joined the others in line.

"Hey guys!" I said.

I was greeted by many chorses of "Hey Raven!" "Hello!" and "Hiya!"

I laughed. "We doing pumkins first?" I asked.

"Yeah!" Said Katy.

"Then zip lining and then the corn maze." Said Leo.

Oh god... Man I loved his voice.

"Sounds great!" I said beaming.

We got our tokens and such then headed on to the hayride which would take us to the pumpkin patch.

"Whoa!" I said as the ride started with a jerk and I lost my balance and grabbed onto Leo.

I stopped breathing for a moment our faces were only a few inches apart he looked at me with those big brown
eyes of his somewhat surprised and I felt my cheeks grow warm.

He laughed. "Carful." He said grinning at me as I blushed, I realized that my hands were still on his chest and quickly removed them.

I turned away to find Alice giving me the death glare. I bit my lip and instead looked at my shoe obviously she was still not happy about me being the slightest bit touchy with Leo.

I sighed and struck up a convo with Katy about my latest song in the making I sang a few lines and she  looked impressed.

"Wow that's really good Raven." She said.

"Thanks!" I said smiling. "I think I still have a few things to work out but I might be able to play it at one of the next jams." I said.

"Nice!" She said.

"Yeah." Said Leo.

I blushed I hadn't realized he had been listening.

"It sounds really good I would like to hear more." He said giving me a coy smile.

I grinned. "Will do!" I said.

"Ok you guys this looks like a pretty nice spot, so let's get our pumpkins here, ok." Said Cody.

The ride came to a stop and we all jumped off and spread out to find the perfect pumpkin.

I walked over to the white pumpkins, the white ones were my favorite, every year I would always get one like this, it was kind of fun to do something a little bit different.

Whoa... I thought I did a double take and grinned that one! I thought. I had almost walked right past it! I turned around and walked over the the pumpkin, it was a bit flat on one side and somewhat bumpy on another bit, but other than that it was everything I wanted cute flaws and all... Kind of like Leo... I giggled as I scooped up the pumpkin and walked back over to the rest of the group who had already found their pumpkins.

After everyone had found one we rode the hayride back to the cars and dropped off our pumpkins.

"Hmm so what's next?" Said Tommy as we stood by the entrance once more.
